They're obviously doing something right in terms of selling the fight if they're able to convince people that a guy who badly struggled against Hughie Fury and Andy Ruiz is going to beat a guy who's probably lost less than half a dozen rounds in his career.

People are desperate to see weaknesses in Joshua but they're not really that obvious. His gassing is so overstated.

Parker is calling Joshua “the king of steroids” and went on to suggest Klitschko may have used them and Joshua was in that camp.

Parker would know since he also trained with Klitschko.

I always wondered how Klitchko got so muscular at 41 without any “help” and Joshua is unnatural so I believe he’s cheating but has found a way to beat the test like Mike Tyson admitted to.
Would certainly answer a lot of past questions . would'nt it , the questions that don't seem to get asked anymore , bulking up gassing out , could be answerd differently depending on who you speak to , excess weights , roid use ,, end result is the same , bigger , bulkier , slower, and stamina issues
So I guess Joe Frazier took steroids and was so gassed versus Foreman that he just stood there taking punches getting knocked down 6 times and getting slaughtered in 2 rounds.... All those roids wrecked him - not Foreman.

Ali was so roided v Frazier when he was 29 that he gassed out and layed on the ropes taking punishment for long periods of time... He was one groggy MFer and got decked for the 3rd time in his career poor guy... Too many roids.

Foreman was the roid champ.... Look at all those muscles.... He got gassed and couldn't move.... He fell down and took the count poor boy.... Then feather punching Jimmy Young decked the roid master... Musta been roids.

The trouble is Steroids were legal back in the 60's and 70's... Today they test for them and you're banned if you take them---and many have been banned so Joshua and Parker are cleaner than the Board of Health.

NEWS FLASH!!! .... If you do scientific strength training you get bigger, faster, and stronger... There is nothing unusual about athletes who are Anthony Joshua's size, strength, and muscularity... They work at it.

When Parker was asked point black whether he's accusing Joshua of being a PED cheat he quickly walked his comments back... "I'm not accusing him.... I'm saying there's a possibility heh heh.".... Now he's being mealy mouthed about it.

If anybody accused me of being a PED cheat I'd want to knock his fukking block off and feed his carcass to the buzzards... I'm sure Joshua is angry as hell and just want to beat the living shitt out of the phony Zealander.

Fury schooled him by throwing about 10 punches in the entire fight.

I've been watching old fights and one thing is obvious, Buster Douglas would absolutely own this heavyweight division if he was in his prime today.

aj would stop buster. ppl need to realise that ajs a legit very good shw who isnt part of the 'contender from era x thrashes everyone today' equation. theres no fringe contender, flash in the pan, or almost man who was levels above joshua

though buster had a lot more boxing skill than most guys today and would easily be around top 10, even when not on his tyson peak form. the division sucks outside a few names.

I do agree but Lennox would be absolute undisputed if he was here today. Strong as an ox, could punch like a mule, 5ft 5, manhandled bigger guys. He'd do a Grant to both AJ and Wilder IMO

Absolutely no doubt about it. Lewis was much more fluid also. He'd come to bomb them out asap.

I dont remember fury landing much. One of the worst title fights in the history of the division and as someone who was watching in a bar, I can tell you it turned many a casual off boxing. I was one of the few still watching after a couple of rounds. A performance that would have made Junior Witter proud.

Listen to Jake Woods podcast. I also know there was maybe 5,000 of us out there, another 5,000 who'd not gone because of the date change. Wouldn't that fill most arenas, for a man who can't sell tickets?

I think there being 5,000 there is pushing it a little (saying that I was one of them).

I wouldn’t say he can’t sell tickets but he certainly wasn’t selling well in his fights pre Klitschko. His fight vs Hammer immediately prior to Klitschko wasn’t well attended.

For me a boxer who can really sell tickets is someone who can do it against a poor/unknown opponent. Joshua can well and truly do this (80,000 vs Pulev/Takam) and there are others that can (Haye for example).

Fury can’t. Otherwise he would have sold better against Hammer and his rematch with Klitschko would have sold better even with the stupid prices.

I actually think Fury being out the ring will help his ticket sales. His mystique has probably grown and his win over seems to be exaggerated more and more each day I.e. you refer to it as a schooling whilst for most it was a great win but reasonably narrow.

The final words of the press conference from AJ were that they would shake hands at the end of the fight.

Higgins is a great addition to this fight, brilliant entertainment compared to the usual AJ press conferences. Higgins vs Hearn would be PPV.

All on the promoters for the hype for this fight isn't it? Both fighters and both trainers are unlikely to give the press the quotes they want. You could see Eddie sensing this so had a little dig at Higgins about basically bricking himself now he was in front of Joshua just to spice it up a little.

Sure Whyte will have a comment or two, to make regarding Joshua only being troubled 3 times in his career so that also might help hype his own fight and Joshuas by association.

Most of those 80,000 were in the bar though to be fair, they weren't really interested in making it into the stadium.

They still paid their money and the vast majority came out for the main event. Unfortunately, as we all know, it’s always an issue at big fights - people just come to see the one fight.

The UFC is the complete opposite. Every show I’ve been to has been full from the first fight to the last.

AJ’s clearly started believing the insane Sky hype about himself, implying that he’s as dominant a figure in his sport as Federer et al are in their sports.

He’s got one decent name on his record, Klitschko. That may well be one name more than any of his competitors have on their records but it doesn’t elevate him to anywhere near the levels of the great champions he namechecks particularly as he beat a shopworn way past his best Wlad.

His comments about no mere man being able to prevent him reaching his destiny, whatever that might be, suggest he’s totally and uterly deluded. I predict a rude awakening for AJ this year.

Yeah must admit I’m feeling the same; he’s talking sh!t and hyping himself way too much. At least the humble act is on its way out though.

Not sure Parker is the guy to pull off the upset, although I might put a cheeky tenner on him if it looks like AJ is coming in too heavy again.
