I never saw Harrison as world class - Fighting guys who are in that category has just proved to be too much for him as I thought all along it would be - Thank God we have people like Calzaghe,Hatton and Woods who we can be really proud of who go out to win every time - Williams and Skelton are good contenders and maybe one of them can bring pride back to british heavyweight boxing - My bet is on Matt, I still say he will not only beat Williams but will get the title as well

yet you said he needs a world title soon some time ago, so must have seen him as world class surely ?.
Audley was a very improved fighter when I last saw him but age is not on his side - Danny will be a huge test for him, but I think we have seen the best of Danny Williams and Audley should pull it off - Audley needs a world title shot very soon or his chances of being a world champion will dwindle away, the same goes for Matt Skelton, pushing 40 is a problem for them both.

I don't think you're in position to slag anyone for their Harrison predictions. You were the one saying he'd be champion, he's turned out to be nothing but GARBAGE. British garbage.

All the bollocks he came out with before this fight, saying he wasnt in the frame of mind to win against Williams and how he is definitely up for Guinn, blah, blah fornicating blah!!

The guy is a disgrace and just came out and fought EXACTLY the same fight as he did against Williams. Stood back, threw no punches when the guy came straight in, circled to his left hand etc etc. Never won a round in my view and nearly got sparked in the last 20 seconds. UD to Guinn by a country mile.

Fair play to Guinn who has had a tough time of it in recent fights, but he was far busier, and definitely wanted it more. Hopefully Fraudley can now smeg off and not put us through any more of his shite!
Got to agree with you.

Harrison is a total embarrassment.

The Williams fight is all the proof we needed; this current shambolic performance was not a surprise on my part.

ALL of Harrison's criticisms have been deserved... The only time I started to think - maybe he is knuckling down and this devision is so poor, he might have a chance was after the Hersia fight.

Someone make an entry into the Wilkipedia, "Fraudley", a boxer with total lack of bollocks. I just can't believe he would perform like this after all his talk. Totally spineless. He doesn't even go down fighting. Ive never seen anything like it. How can he even show his face in public anymore.

I laugh out loud at all those people who said a year or two ago that Audley Harrison was the only realistic opponent that could beat Vitali Klitschko, my God that would be a 1 round KO if ever I saw one. I bet Fraudley wears brown pants for all of his fights!

Well spotted - I made a big mistake about Harrisons age too and that was my point - Everybody was talking about him as a world champ and with me thinking he was nearer Skeltons age I made that comment about time running out for him - I do on the face of it appear to be changing my tune,I agree, and on the basis that Harrison seemed to have improved at that time I thought my earlier estimation of him may have been wrong but it wasnt - I was however very wrong about Danny Williams he has made a huge comeback after losing the British title but my money is still on Skelton for their next fight

I thought his skills might take him to a world title, but his lack of heart has been badly exposed in the pro ranks, even amongst some of the weakest heavyweight competition of all time. He is now a joke figure, and should retire for the good of the sport in this country.

I mean for his first 6 or 7 fights his competition was not that bad for a novice yet he was slated by people like Warren.... mainly because he tried to go it alone rather than sign up with Warren...
I began to have deep doubts about Audely after the Julius Francis bout....

I clocked him from his 1st pro fight, he tried his hardest to KO someone unknown cruiserweight who looked about 4 stones lighter than him. He should have knocked that guy out without blinking.

The Dominic Negus fight really confirmed my worst fears, especially when Negus said that his grandma hits harder than Harrison. :o

I'd like to thank everybody who posted on this thread for putting a smile back on my face after the hang over I've been suffering. Some of these posts have been hilarious.
The sheer frustration and contempt for Audley's performances and attitude has led to some pretty funny stuff being posted about the big lug.
I can just imagine the film version of how it all ended with Audley leaving the Arena on Friday night via the back door and jumping into a getaway van with his career takings in a bag with the word 'swag' written on the side. The van then takes off and Audley's promoter and army of fans suddenly run out of the back door and briefly attempt to chase the van before stopping and waving their fists in the air.
The camera then pulls back and reveals the Van heading off into the sunset and the words 'The End' come up on your screen accompanied by the song 'The Great Pretender.'
Now all that would explain the lack of a post fight interview by Audster the Fraudster. :TU:

Well khan has been fighting much lighter men and not stopping them all and he's promoted by you know who!... is Khans early opposition really that much better than Audleys was?.... I think not>>>

No it isn't, but the crucial difference is that Khan looks good & he's having more than 2-3 fights a year.

I never expected Harrison to have his pro debut against Lennox Lewis or something, but he could have fought more often (yes I know he was 'injured' a lot) & looked more impressive against some of the cruiserwieght nightclub bouncers & butchers that he was fighting. :box:

Exactly, SE... Good point.

And Khan is a teenager, and I would say his opponents are comparable to Audley's... Daniel Thorpe is probably the equivalent of a Mark Krence - who is probably Audley's best win.

Plus Komjathi is a significant step up.

I think its only Krence and Hersisa (maybe Calloway) could have been deemed acceptable for a 30 year old novice of his "pedigree".

Look at Alexander Povetkin's next opponent, now that what you call a step up.
