averlant and sjejoca would be burtons best wins. burtons lost every fght above area level. same cant be said about yardes last opponent who drew for the ebu vs a euro level fghter rght before. and bugloni got absolutely trashed at euro level vs chud and khomsty

but hopefully this allows yarde to fight someone better than averlant. maybe a good euro level gatekeeper such as ngumbu

I'm glad this card has been cancelled. It was appalling, pull outs and late choice of opponents never looked good. Feel for the fans that were going but in reality. A 'up and coming' York Hall card will be fun. Area title fights etc.

Would hope to see Dubois, Yarde, Skeete all moved to the BJS/Flanagan card.

2 month lay off for Dubois/Yarde/Skeete?
I would hope these fights are moved to the York Hall show and then their next outing is on the BJS undercard...

(my tribute to Saad)
Did he get suspended/banned from here? I was off here for a week and there seemed to have been a night of long knives while I was absent
Banned for posting the same posts repetitively I think. Not 100% sure what happened but a few days he was reposting smiles over and over etc....
In fairness to the mods, Saad had been given plenty of warnings and has been suspended before. He ain't innocent in all of this mate.

Yes - it’s cancelled.

The show was ill conceived from get-go.

Even if Tete was fit, would it really have sold more tickets?!

The problem Frank has, unlike Matchroom, is that he has so few fighters that can top a bill. If he loses one or two fights then he has nowhere to go whilst Eddie has far more options at his disposal.

It’s also pretty poor form that as it stands today his 1st big show of the year isn’t until mid April (15 weeks into the year!) and then he has 2 shows in consecutive weeks. By that point, Hearn would have put on 3-4 big shows including, in all likelihood, a sell out of the Millenium Stadium.

Nah I know bud. I just couldn't remember what he'd done specifically this time. I just missed what happened and asked but nobody was forthcoming with any answers and I remembered him going through a strange spell of reposting smilies over and over again lol

W@rren has enough guys at his disposal if he game plans right.
Nobody is expecting Wembley Stadium fights, just solid shows every few weeks.
He needs to spread his marquee names out every couple of months.

Flanagan/Furys/Catterall/Gorman/Zelfa
Saunders/Yarde/Skeete/Dubois
Selby/Williams/Evans
Warrington/Adams/Nurse
Frampton/Conlan/Barnes

Put Tete and Vijinder Singh in the smaller towns eg Birmingham Tete/Langford/Woodstock/Singh

It takes planning but Fr@nk just cant seem to organise it, Hearn has got his stuff running like clock work at the moment...

Dubois, Yarde and Barrett will all be on the York Hall card on the 24th according to Frank.

Not expecting high quality opponents but tempted to go to that now with the change of venue.

No official announcement yet from Frank but Ticketmaster seems to have it on sale.
