Groves-Eubank Tickets - Fan Frenzy, Sold Out in Seven Minutes...
Re: Groves-Eubank Tickets - Fan Frenzy, Sold Out in Seven Minutes...
What are the chances of more tickets getting released in the lead up to the fight? I can now go to this after originally not being able to!

Some £150 tickets here:
http://www.eventim.co.uk/tickets.html?f ... alid=55607
Not cheap but much better value than StubHub etc.

When have these gone on?? How reliable is viagogo? They have the same tickets on sale for quite a bit less?
The whole thing is so corrupt!

Eventim is face value, primary market, I'd be surprised if anything on Viagogo is under face value and they add a ton of fees on top of the quoted price too, their quoted prices don't even include VAT.

I've used Viagogo once, never again.
Froch v Kessler 2 at the O2 - my brother bought tickets through Viagogo, and they didn't scan at the entry barrier. A phone call was made by security and it was sorted, only for us to get to our seats and there were two other people sat in them. Turned out the same tickets had been sold 3 times on various sites.
Luckily we were relocated to similar tickets elsewhere by the staff at the O2, but I'd never use Viagogo again.

Viagogo are legit. But dear. You'd be better off getting the £150's.

I can't disassociate myself from lumping Viagogo, StubHub etc all in together with the people I see as wankers who profiteer from tickets, meaning genuine fans don't get the opportunity to get them.mickey1975 wrote: ↑26 Jan 2018, 04:14 Viagogo are legit. I'm one of them, so I'm a wanker.MarkMcBurney wrote: ↑26 Jan 2018, 04:21I can't disassociate myself from lumping Viagogo, StubHub etc all in together with the people I see as wankers who profiteer from tickets, meaning genuine fans don't get the opportunity to get them.mickey1975 wrote: ↑26 Jan 2018, 04:14 Viagogo are legit. Got a lot of time for you on here and value your opinions, so would never be personal, but I'm afraid I disagree with the idea of buying tickets solely for profit as it's the reason I couldn't get tickets for this fight.mickey1975 wrote: ↑26 Jan 2018, 04:41I'm one of them, so I'm a wanker.MarkMcBurney wrote: ↑26 Jan 2018, 04:21I can't disassociate myself from lumping Viagogo, StubHub etc all in together with the people I see as wankers who profiteer from tickets, meaning genuine fans don't get the opportunity to get them.mickey1975 wrote: ↑26 Jan 2018, 04:14 Viagogo are legit. Can get them if you know what you're doing. I'm semi retired from it now, and have never profited from boxing, I've tried but have loads of mates who want the tickets! Touts lose as well. I've got Morrissey, Royal Albert Hall, struggling... I thought they were a guarantee. Yet my son has just seen Hamilton, £80 going for £3,000! Made me ill thinking if I even knew what it was how much I'd have made.

Know of any going for face value, at £40/£60?

Possibly from Isaac Lowe. He's a friend of a friend. Don't know what he's got though. Hamilton sent me mad. My youngest raves about it but he's only 12 so I took no notice. I nearly cried when I saw the mark up.

not a great fan of touts, but surely the real wankers are people that pay 3000 quid for an 80 ticket

I have tickets to Hamilton next month (and I'm going), I doubt they are really selling for that much and you could only buy 2 tickets per performance, and the named person has to attend as one of the two people. So you could only in theory sell the second ticket. Can't believe that many people would be willing to pay silly money to attend a show with a stranger when at the end of the day it will run for years and you'd be able to see it for face value as long as you book ahead for say a year in advance. It's not like a boxing match that happens once, it's not even the original Broadway cast performing in London in the first place.

When they went on sale, in the first few hours you could get that much for opening nights. Yes, you'd have to walk them in, but that isn't hard. Done it loads of times. I'm sure the cast are pretty good at this one, too.bruthead wrote: ↑28 Jan 2018, 01:36 I have tickets to Hamilton next month (and I'm going), I doubt they are really selling for that much and you could only buy 2 tickets per performance, and the named person has to attend as one of the two people. Touts are the biggest wankers around. Legal like stub hub and viagogo or old school ones.
They profit from fans of any entertainment. Real people miss out because of these twats. I am glad the odd artist is now clamping down because the government wont.
I went to a coldplay concert at thr Emirates in 2012 and as you walked out the tube there was more touts than fans at that point.
