Wilder saying he would destroy prime Tyson
Apparently he's said in an interview he would kick prime Tyson's Arse!
that's my thoughts, what's yours?
Re: Wilder saying he would destroy prime Tyson
He won't even defend his title against a Top 10 contender. It's laughable for him to even suggest he'd have the balls to fight Tyson let alone beat him.

Re: Wilder saying he would destroy prime Tyson
At first I was a little confused as to which Tyson we were talking about.
Styles make fights and these styles tell me Wilder would turn into Carl The Truth Williams for this one.
KO 1

Obviously it can never be proven but I think it would be over inside 3. Wilder hasn't been anywhere near a fighter of that hunger , viciousness and power.

One might think that wilder has taken a few too many punches to the head but since he’s not really fought anyone who hits back then it isn’t the case here.
Tyson would have this fight one during the ring walk and stare down. Very easy nights work.

Fury or Mike?
Re: Wilder saying he would destroy prime Tyson
I think Wilder actually needs to beat someone from his own era first. Before he talks about fighters from others.

And I assumed I wouldn't need to elaborate on my comment. He hasn't beaten anyone of note. I think he's fought one guy who was in the top 10 and that was Stiverne.boxingknockout wrote: ↑28 Jan 2018, 15:56I assume most of his 40 or so wins are from his era?!?! No Tyson talent mind
Before he talks about others from a bygone era. He needs to beat some of the top boys from his. Wlad (who he could have fought a few years ago), Joshua, Povetkin, Parker, Tyson Fury, Even someone like Pulev who's nothing special but at least he's legitimately a current top 10 fighter.
Ortiz will be his first real fight. He's one of the best fighters around currently. If Wilder wins it'll answer so many questions and give him the legitimacy he so desperately needs. I heard his fights don't even do good numbers over in the US. He needs to beat a few names on that list before he even has the right of mentioning others.
