It's good to see Tommy get the chance to fight for another title.

When he lost to Tyrone Nurse for the British he was devastated, guy wears his heart on his sleeve.

But, I agree a boring fight. Hopefully were wrong and it's better than expected.

Just like Thomas Stalker this is another "backward" fight for Dodd - at 33 I wish Matchroom would try to get him up the ladder. The Belgium guy who Dodd beat not so long ago was, up until recently, the EBU champion. Why doesn't Hearn try to match Dodd with the current EBU champion.

There's been plenty of Matchroom fighters on not such a good run who have got world title shots.

Dodd by late stoppage. Coyle just a little to fragile in this one for me.

:TU: Rare enough we can say a fighter that’s 5 years older is the fresher of two.

Should be a decent fight this, both men like to come forwrd and throw plenty of punches.

I expect Dodd to win a competetive decision.

I reckon Dodd on points.

I fancy Coyle to make it close though.

Hope Dodd gets the British or European shot if he pulls through this.
He’s on a decent run.

Dodd/Coyle should unify their Commonwealth with Ritson/Hyland for the British and Hearn should get the winner a shot at the European...

Really good fight looking forward to this one, love both guys, tough honest pros who always give great value, Dodd absolutely schooled Stalker last time out, I was surprised how easily dealt with him, he was able to outbox him no probs

As much as I like Dodd i'd wouldn't mind seeing Coyle finally get his hands on a major title, he was well in front when Mathews KO'd him and he pushed Nurse all the way as well, he's got some good wins Coyle and surely this will his last chance

Struggling to pick a winner here ive bet against Dodd a few times, Coyle is strong and can whack a fair bit but he does look the more vulnerable of the 2, Dodd has been stopped himself twice and against lesser guys than the ones who beat Coyle so who knows?

I'll go with Coyle via late stoppage

I'm going for Coyle to take a close decision. Who's working Coyles corner with Moore being in Belfast?

Nigel Travis I imagine. I could be wrong but he was doing the pad work with Coyle in the open work out.
