I've never seen AJ knock out anyone the way Wilder has. They've both had help on more than one occasion by referees stepping in after pounding on guys round after round without achieving a true knockout. AJ has had that happen quite a number of times, Not able to really get the guy outta there for some reason. If his power is that great and his technique is so much better, he should be hitting harder. Seems like more think Wilder is a bigger one shot puncher. I dunno. AJ has better fundamentals, he's about 20lbs heavier too and knows how to use it well.

It's either AJ or Wilder.

AJ's KO of Whyte was brutal. His KTFO of Rafael Zumbano Love was brutal as well. I think AJ hits much harder than Wilder with a right uppercut and probably harder with a left hook, but Wilder hits harder with a streight right hand and right hook.

Klitschko didn't stop Povetkin... Joshua dropped Wladimir 3 X and stopped him.... He's the only Heavyweight Champion in history who has 5 or more Heavyweight Championship Fights... who has won all his fights by KO.

To be fair, Wladimir Klitschko also dropped Alexander Povetkin thrice OFFICIALLY. And Alexander Povetkin was never dropped previously in over hundred amateur + pro bouts combined.

And just like Anthony Joshua, Wladimir Klitschko could've also stopped Alexander Povetkin if the referee decided to stop the bout since Wladimir Klitschko deserved a stoppage victory just as much as Anthony Joshua did against Wladimir Klitschko when Joshua dropped Wlad thrice.

If Anthony Joshua deserved a TKO stoppage victory against Wladimir Klitschko because he dropped Wladimir Klitschko thrice. Then Wladimir Klitschko also deserves a TKO stoppage victory just as much against Alexander Povetkin because he also dropped Povetkin thrice.

I personally believe the stoppage victory that Anthony Joshua got over Wladimir Klitschko was a premature, gift stoppage. Since Wladimir Klitschko blocked pretty much every punch Joshua threw, except one at the time of the stoppage. And Wladimir Klitschko wasn't anymore hurt in the 11th round than Anthony Joshua was when Wladimir Klitschko dropped Anthony Joshua in the 6th round.

And in terms of single punch power. There's no contest! Wladimir Klitschko is the FAR more proven puncher in terms of RAW single punch power. Wladimir Klitschko dropped Anthony Joshua with a single right hand. On the other hand, Anthony Joshua had to throw multiple sloppy punches to achieve two knockdowns which weren't even clean. Joshua only scored ONE clean knockdown which was the third knockdown he scored of the bout in the 11th round. The rest were very sloppy and were debatable if they were even clean knockdowns in the first place. Just like how Wladimir Klitschko only scored ONE clean knockdown against Alexander Povetkin in the second round and the rest were all sloppy, disputable knockdowns. They looked more like push downs rather than legitimate knockdowns resutling from punches but they OFFICIALLY counted as knockdowns.

A young Wladimir Klitschko (from 2006 - 2012) would've most likely finished Anthony Joshua off!

It is pathetic to see all excuses used to diminish what is that obvious - Wilder is the biggest puncher in boxing today. Everyone who will be objective can see that. Glad the other guy showed the KOs. No one KOs people the way Wilder does. Enough BS on his technique. This is beyond ridiculous.

Even AJ knows Wilder punches harder than he does - everyone with an eye can see that. This is also why they diminish the other skills he shows.

The main areas that AJ is better than Wilder are the uppercut and his form when he throws (most of the time). That's it. Everything else is to Wilder's advantage with the left hook being equal in my opinion. Wilder has the better right hand, movement, speed, agility, head movement, pivoting out of trouble, fighting on the backfoot, etc.
