Bowen wins wide. This lad is going far keep your eye out for him.

Hoping to see Zelfa v Bowen for the British title some time this year. Its a quality domestic fight for the title and they are both at that level now, theres no reason why this fight shouldnt happen this year.

Bowen looks a talent but a huge step-up.

Hughes is under-rated IMO. Beat Ward on my card in there first fight.

Tough one to call. If Bowen is the real deal he should outpoint him.

But Maxi is proven at this level might be able to use his experience to old-man him.

I respect Carl Greaves opinion immensely and he’s a huge believer in Bowen which is telling.

Not that its a bad thing and no disrespect to carl greaves but if Sam Bowen is everything he says he is why was he not picked up by one of the bigger promotional outfits?

I think with it being in his hometown he should be grateful for that as if he was making this step up in class, without the experience and away in a noisy doncaster Dome I would give him very little chance at all with dealing with that on the night.

Should be a good fight and Bowen will be dangerous early on but he has never done more than 6 rounds. Maxi has been to London, Belfast, Leeds, and manchester among others as a pro and should be able to keep his head and finally get his hands on that lonsdale belt.
