Gonna be a scoorcher Wes!

Usyk is better on his feet, he has a better jab, he will outbox Gassiev in a very tense fight, because Gassiev has a chance to land a KO punch every second. Yet I'm sure in Usyk.

Don’t know but after tonight’s fight I think we will all be watching.

it depends if/how easily gassiev is able to hurt him imo. if he struggles to hurt usyk he may have issues with his work rate not being high enough and his attack being s preditcable enough for usyk to outbox him. but if he can hurt usyk, maybe lure him into a fight, he could do it.

If I had to put money on it I’d back Uysk on points. Not with much conviction though! Gassiev is a beast. That left hand is a weapon, great lead hand.

Bellew just mentioned he’ll be looking for the winner...
Yeah right. Every fighter in this final four beats Bellew, Gassiev and Breidis would probably take his head off his shoulders.

The winner the May 11 cruiserweight World Boxing Super Series final in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will require plenty of room at home to showcase the fruits of their labor.
The belts on the line will be IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO, and now RING Magazine can officially reveal that their vacant cruiserweight championship belt will also be on the line. Subsequently, either Oleksandr Usyk or Murat Gassiev will emerge as the undefeated and undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world.

A date is in July anyway, so minor elbow injury should have no effect.
Gassiev is also in training:

If Andy Ruiz had a metabolism of Murat Gassiev and his work ethic, he would be a lightweight :Oh Yes:boxing_rocks wrote: ↑16 Apr 2018, 14:47 A date is in July anyway, so minor elbow injury should have no effect.

I'm shocked how much of fat Gassiev has burned in three weeks.

Re: Oleksandr Usyk (WBC, WBO) vs. Murat Gassiev (WBA, IBF)
pull out?!? doesnt seem like usyk with his road warrior history, but i guess he thinks its shady. plus as a ukranian it might be worse then for most fighters.
Re: Oleksandr Usyk (WBC, WBO) vs. Murat Gassiev (WBA, IBF)
Saudi Arabia was a bizarre selection of venue. Given the recent history in Ukraine it's just as bizarre expecting Usyk to fight there.
Cock up by Sauerland, they lose credibility if Usyk pulls out over this. Must be some big Russian money behind the WBSS if they go ahead.
