Stunning fight! Feel so sorry for Dorticos, so close to seeing the final bell but Gassiev was relentless. Can't wait for the final!

I wasn't scoring but it felt like Dorticos was winning to me so I'm glad there was an emphatic finish.
I tuned in from halfway and thought Gassiev was working him over. Landed all the best shots in the last six.

dorticos wasnt winning at all. he had pretty much all his power shots blocked and probably got hit with the best 30 shots of the fights. he was also hurt multiple times prior to the last round. dude was walking forward but getting out boxed. gassiev pretty much couldnt miss the lead uppercut

Dorticos slowed down from about round 5 onwards. He started well and was landing some nice shots and forcing the action but Gassiev took over and was leading going in to the final round no doubt.

His left hand is outstanding.

Shame Dorticos didn’t see the final bell. He’s one tough bastard.

Another great fight to follow last weekends semi final. These final four should all keep fighting each other, mixing up the opposition!

The final should be a cracker! If Uysk can take the power he takes the win.

Most of his right hands were blocked but Gassiev was doing so little in the first half of the fight I thought he was well behind by halfway.
But if the stats were correct and Dorticos threw fewer punches in total and only landed 10 more jabs over the entire fight then I need to get down to the opticians then watch this fight again.

To clarify I thought Dorticos might still have retained very narrow advantage by the end of 12. A wide decision for Gassiev would have pissed me off

honestly dorticos could hardly land a power punch after maybe the fourth round. i didnt think it was close at all. his jab was decent and he was coming forward, but i thought almost all the best stuff came from gassiev, plus he landed more, plus he hurt dorticos a few times before the last round

His jab was absolutely beautiful, the Cubans and those skills. Gassievs timing on his chopping head and body shots was unbelievable, he was so patient.

Please tell me that muppet commentating is NOT doing Eubanks and Groves !!! He talked absolutely nonstop through every round in a high pitched scream. If he was commentating for radio then he might have just been acceptable but dear oh dear. It was like sitting next to a crowd of drunk women on the train home.

Big Ron is the worst interviewer ever. I love how Gassiev just ignored his questions entirely and talked about whatever he wanted because he didn't understand any of Ron's deranged work salad

I don't mind him on commentary but as an interviewer he is absolutely downright piss poor.

I had a friend ask if Ron was on the autism spectrum after they watched one of his interviews after the super series. He just rambles on and on and takes longer to ask the question than the boxer does answering it. He also sounds ridiculous in the way he's asking the questions. It's like he's performing in the theater. You're just asking a question mate. For all Kellermans faults, I think he's pretty good at asking questions in the ring after fights. It's about being real and talking to the fighter as if it's a normal conversation. You'd think Ron was playing a part in King Lear the way he conducts himself.
