I’ve got the upmost respect for bellew as he’s a fighter and for that alone commands respect and he’s also achieved great things but the way sky and Eddie Hearn bumlick him is ridiculous, it’s verging on embarrassing, I feel like hearns his little puppy dog and for the fact they are calling out fury is disgusting, it just seems to me that they are all about making money and exploiting others for their own gain and they just have a smug slimey way of going about things.
Rant over! That’s all x

Bellew doesn't beat Usyk or Fury IMO. He's got a good chance against Haye as Haye is the Michael Owen of the boxing world. No matter what happens Bellew wont be around much longer. If he beats Haye again then he's got another great payday against someone like Usyk or Fury. If he loses to Haye he'll have to drop down to cruiserweight and fight Usyk which will be his last fight. A cash-out fight if you like.
I actually do like Bellew. He's not frightened to speak his mind. He always tries hard in his fights. Apart from the Stevenson fight where he looked like he had no confidence at all. He's made his money so fair play to him.

Re: Eddie bellew
It's esp surprising after the way Bellew mugged him off in the ring after beating Haye

I just find listening to any of them talk nowadays nauseating man! Fukk knows if I'm becoming too cynical but it's just the same narrative they're pushing and it just makes my bollocks squirm! Tried to listen to an IFL interview with Hearn the other day. He was on the train with Kugan going to Sheffield for Brook presser and I had to turn it off before I was sick! Talking about loyalty and how him and AJ get on! Creepy cùnts! I'd be surprised if glitter sacks could fuckin spell loyalty!
Re: Eddie bellew
Bellew is just a Sky puppet. He's decent as a fighter but he's certainly being moulded in the next Johnny Nelson!

Re: Eddie bellew
I like that he’s made good money. Boxers earning well is good to see, it’s as tough as it gets in terms of a vocation so they deserve to be rewarded.
He’s nowhere near as good as his profile suggests and he’s had a few lucky breaks as it were, but what’s he supposed to do? Say I’m not actually world class, send me back to European level and let me earn a lot less money in front on fewer people?
Hearn has done an incredible job with him, as good as you’ll see. Haye will knock him out if he’s even half fit, which only means we are on for the rubber match unfortunately. That’ll suit both fighters too, more easy(ish) money, instead of Bellew having to risk going back down to take a sustained beating off Uysk or getting sparked by Gassiev ( both for less money ) and Haye top up his retirement fund instead of mixing it with the likes of AJ who are far more dangerous.

Never mind 10 Watts, just bring back one Jim Watt, just one, OK?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑09 Feb 2018, 09:19ten watt bulbs are brighter mate.Stuarty wrote: ↑09 Feb 2018, 09:12Aye he looks about as bright as a ten watt bulbRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑09 Feb 2018, 09:06

Re: Eddie bellew
Bellew went south after “dat film” unfortunately for him he’s believing his hype after beating a one legged Haye.
He would have had far more respect from me if he’d entered the Cruiser WBSS because apparently he was the best on the planet, but he knew he wouldn’t win it.
He chased the cash fighting Haye, then called out virtually every heavyweight bar Joshua and is now backtracking and wants to fight the winner of the tournament.

Re: Eddie bellew
So just to be clear. Haye vs Bellew 2 is still scheduled right? I'm just wondering because Bellew seems to be giving no mention whatsoever of the Haye rematch of late.
Re: Eddie bellew
I have long thought Bellew fancies himself in the Bernard Hopkins/Golden Boy role at Matchroom.
I think Bernard stuck his own money in and is a shareholder in GBP. Matchroom remains a family business (though one day could concievably IPO) and as such Tony will remain in a cheerleading only capacity.
Good luck to him though, both Bellew and Eddie have managed and promoted Bellew's carreer exceptionally well over the last five years.

Bellew is nothing special and he knows it, but neither is Haye, who was scared from Briggs for a reason, chicken like he is. I think Bellew will beat him again, or get screwed.

Re: Eddie bellew
Tony wouldn’t have fought Stevenson if he didn’t believe he could win I think making light heavyweight had finally taken it’s toll. I personally think Tony can beat any cruiserweight in the world on his day.Exoddus wrote: ↑09 Feb 2018, 07:50 Bellew doesn't beat Usyk or Fury IMO. There are a number of ppv events between now and then. Why push that one now? One at a time.
Re: Eddie bellew
Long way off to be fair.
Saw that haye released some footage today as he's starting full training camp. So guess we will get little bits and pieces from now on from both camps
