Just browsed through the Fight + TV guide. Other than the live boxing from ESPN and Top Rank and "one off" card, it looks like they are showing cards from more promoters on delayed basis.

They have been/are showing two different AMI cards from France (Monshipour vs Thai and Chanet vs Mger/Klose vs Lauri),
They are also showing Universum cards on delayed basis, and the same goes with Warrior and DiBella boxing from the US.

Fight + also shows fights from South Africa now, that mixed with world title fights from Latin America and asia and programs like In this Corner, it looks liek a channel Ill be subscriping to when it will be ready on cable here soon

They of course also show alot of MMA/wrestling/Stongman and bodybuilding if your in to that.

Problem is (I imagine) is the rights issue over here, I think Channel five have the rights over here to all ESPN shows... They show most of it live except for the boxing and I think that is down to five chosing not to show it live as opposed to their rights.

There will also be problems regarding the UFC/MMA and Wrestling stuff.

There will soon open a polish fight channel, it has acquired the rights for over 100 shows a year.

I blame poor marketing and the fact that it was not quite as accessible as it should have been throughout europe.

Quite sad news, I did think they were running before they could walk.... and the false promises of when they were going to broadcast in the UK was never a good sign.

Should have started off small with small hall cards and really got the publicity going.... then build up. Not get the big US cards straight away with limited publicity.

I still think there is a market for a boxing/fighting channel, but its never going to compete with Sky Sports' budget. Get the small hall promoters (i.e. Derek Williams etc) working TOGETHER and maybe acquire delayed action rights to some of the cheaper US boxing shows (Guilty boxing, Broadway etc).
