Ryan Walsh vs. Isaac Lowe - February 17th 2018

Post by wesshaw1985 »

fight has been made for the Groves vs. Eubank undercard.
Winner moves a step closer to the likes of Frampton, Selby, Quigg and Warrington.
Winner vs. Kid Galahad would be fun.

Who wins?

Walsh by UD. Might be a bit too awkward for Lowe.

Leaning towards Walsh but that's only because I'm not sure how good Lowe is yet. This fight should provide the answer.

I think we'll see a close bout with some shouting ROBBERY no matter who gets the verdict.

What a good fight this is.Struggling to pick a winner.

Walsh will want to put on a big performance here after being quite stand off in the Ceylan fight.I see he stopped Marco McCulloch back in May a fight I no doubt watched but dont remember a thing about.

Lowe hasnt boxed really since the Ceylan fight,6 rounds with Chris Adaway in late October which wouldnt have been as bad as it sounds.Adaway gives a high tempo few rounds non stop in your face, will have done Lowe no harm having them rounds.

The pace of this fight could be ridiculous. As mentioned I think we will find out here how good Lowe really is.I rate him quite a bit to be fair.

Really good fight. Lowe has been calling out Walsh for a while now. Think Lowe takes this in a tight fight

Solid addition to the Eubank Groves undercard.

I'm there so hopefully this is a really good fight.

Think this is a real 50/50 scrap, Walsh has by far the most experience but Lowe has done better against common opponents, Walsh took longer to get McCullough out of there than I thought he would but he did still look good after disappointing against Ceylan

I never seen Lowe's fight against Ceylan but apparently he done well before a cut stopped the fight after 4 rounds, I was in Manchester when Lowe stopped McCullough to win the Commonwealth a couple of years ago and was impressed, he's a tidy boxer like Walsh

Struggling to pick a winner but I'm gonna side with Lowe to win a decision, be interesting to see how he copes in the second half of the fight though, Walsh has been there and done it

I think Walsh takes him to school and wins wide on the cards.

Loved the fight I had it 114-114 so cant argue with the draw, really good action from both men right from the start, I thought Lowe was excellent, showed the level he's at, Walsh is a classy boxer, immense footwork, switches so easily you don't even notice and he had the cuter boxing skills and was able to walk Lowe down in the later rounds but credit to Lowe he wouldn't let Walsh get a foothold in the fight and allow him to use his experience, he always came back firing, he's a quick skilful boxer and he nailed Walsh with some cracking shots

Looking forward to a rematch

Good fight. I scored it 115-113 for Walsh.

I thought Walsh was the fitter of the two and dominated the middle rounds. Credit to Lowe; showed he has the skills to complete at this level, and showed heart in finding his second wind and finishing strong.

Love to see either face Kiko if he becomes European champ.

I didn't score it, but I didn't have any issue with a draw when I saw it. Both deserve a lot of credit.

It was the best match on the card (as satisfying as watching Eubank get schooled was), I'd be happy with a rematch.

I had Walsh by a couple. Very entertainingly fight, both men brought it. I didn’t see it as a Walsh getting shafted, it was a close fight. Walsh taking the later rounds swayed it for me.
Nice video, Wes.

Great fight .

I'll go against the grain here and think Lowe was slightly hard done by although as said couldn't argue either way .

Was much the busier for me, if not landing the harder shots , landed more volume .

Hope it can be made again tbh
