Ray Beltran vs Paulus Moses

Post by diddy »

-3500 about to get sent home packing to Mexico....unless he gets a Mexican Arizonian decision. Moses is clearly winning this fight. Was taken aback by the odds for this fight but didnt really look into it like I shouldve. Wish I did.

Beltran found his wind in 10 and 11, probably won both rounds. Will be stunned if Moses wins a decision in Arizona at this point. The crowd may riot.

btw please f@cking no loma vs beltran. beltran is tailor made for loma. slow , easy to hit, and spends way too long not punching and just looking to pick spots. not like it adds a whole lot of value to lomas list of opposition either.

no surprise but he clearly deserved it. you were way too early on the robbery train and moses was never well ahead.

but tbh i almost wouldve prefered moses to win.

i just know that after all the loma-linares talk it will just end up being a tr in house fight with loma vs slow plodding ray. id think if moses won thered be less of a chance of loma vs moses with moses not being tr. maybe wouldve made verdejo-moses.

Terrific stuff. I guess when you have respective 36 and 39 year old reflexes, the punches landed stat is always gonna be enhanced and with it the entertainment value for the audience.
Those 117-111 cards seem a bit wide but a good few rounds were close

Lomo will obliterate Rey. Do not let that fight happen. Target practice.

Loma - Mikey, 2018 - the only fight I would like to see at 135.

I thought Beltran won clearly. He certainly outworked old man Moses in quite a few rounds.

Moses would get head to head, shoulder to shoulder with Beltran but frequently didn't let his hands go.

My scorecard was 116-112 Beltran. But Moses still acquited himself well. Showed he could fight and didn't look anything like the massive underdog the odds suggested.

Beltran's decent but hardly special. His power is overrated by the ESPN crew. He has scored a KO in only half his fights.

Top lightweights would have their way with him, either winning a one sided decision or halting him on cuts. He cuts frequently.

We're fortunate that Moses wasn't as feeble as that super middleweight challenger from 2 weeks ago, Habib Ahmed.
