I like Porter.

But if I am a manager for Spence, Thurman, Garcia or Crawford, I don't let my guys anywhere near him.

Garcia will win, but it's only a good win if he gets the stoppage.

Can’t see anything other than a stoppage and a hurtful beating by Garcia.

I hope you are not serious. That might be true about Garcia, but not Crawford or Spence. Thurman already beat Porter, by the way, and Porter didn't want to fight Spence when he had a chance at his belt. Not answering the phone call I guess prevents you from officially ducking. He said he was going a different direction, and after a different belt. Whatever.

Crawford would beat Porter easily, imo.

I am not saying Porter would beat them. Not by a long shot. What I am saying is that I would not expose my fighter to that fight. Non stop pressure, physicality, head buts ... and for what?

Yea Crawford definitely wins ... But I don't think there is such a thing as beating Porter "easily." Even shut out win would likely end with cuts and 12 rounds of serious effort. Porter makes everyone work hard.

Which is why I would stay away

Watch the Felix Diaz fight with Crawford. I think the fight with Porter would go exactly the same way. Similar styles.

I don't think many people have Porter's style in boxing. In the NFL maybe.

In a junior middleweight contest, Joe Spencer (1-0, 1 KO), who is managed by Al Haymon, made his pro debut with a second stoppage of Uriel Gonzalez (1-3-1, 1 KO). Gonzalez was taking a beating in the first round and went down from a hook to the body in the final ten seconds.

Gonzalez continued to take a one-sided beating the second round, which forced his corner to throw in the towel.

Rios has always shown a great chin and Garcia is not a dynamite puncher.

Unless Rios is totally shot, it should go 12.

If old Bradley could stop Rios, then prime Garcia should get it done no problem.

That version of Rios was probably the worst one to step foot in the ring. He looks a lot better here against Garcia. I think it goes 12. I don't think Rios has a chance of winning, though. I think it's going to look like Garcia/Guerrero.

An out of shape Rios was done in by body shots against Bradley.

His chin is certified iron. You can't short circuit Bam Bam's brain. He doesn't have one.

Rios should not be subjected to the sort of beating he’s gonna take tonight. The guy is too brave for his own good. He’s going to take a savage beating.

A) Rios is accustomed to taking beatings. His lack of interest in any form of defense always guarantees that he takes a lot of punches.

B) Garcia doesn't usually hand out many savage beatings. I see him more as a nice boxer with a decent, but not overwhelming punch.

Since Swift has been off about a year it may take him a few rounds to get in the groove, and thereby reduce the amount of punishment Rios figures to endure.

Garcia can box quite well against crude straight ahead punching bags like Rios. He will be walking into fire all night. Garcia isn’t a big puncher but Rios isn’t used to fighting high level natural 147 lb fighters and the one time he did he got stopped.

I’m with Diddy, Garcia is a banger not a “nice boxer”,

this seemed like a pretty uneeded rematch

benavidez is good and very promising but despite having a belt his porky + decisions over ron gavril (couldnt beat elvin ayala) really arent much more then an emerging contender record. plant clowned porky tonight too.

i feel like in the long term benavidez could be a monster but still work to do

I think Garcia would be offended to be called a banger. He's a much more rounded fighter than that.

I'll spot you boxer/puncher. He did a great job of fitting that description against Mattysse.

Benavidez looked absolutely fantastic against Gavril. They should've stopped that fight after 7 or 8 rounds. No need for those last 4 rounds of punishment, the fight was decided.

Gavril f*cked up asking for that rematch. He should've left well enough alone with that SD loss the 1st time. His people cried robbery, but I thought he lost. They damn sure can't say anything this time.

Garcia is about to win a lopsided decision over Rios. Probably another shutout.

gavril isnt very good and couldnt even beat elvin ayala, a truly fantastic performance wouldve seen him stopped. and benavidez is supposed to be a banger i thought.

Lmao Rios trunks are pulled up to his chest. Trying to conceal it by having skin colored trim.

Benavidez is a great combination puncher, and he's very accurate with his shots. He's not the most vicious KO puncher necessarily, but I definitely figure he'll stop quite a few guys over the course of his career with the way he fights.
