Eubank Jr. has become reckless and may even get stopped due to fatigue.

Groves has won this fight.

I don't recall Eubank ever being so sloppy and out control.

Not fighting well under adversity. Elite fighters stay calm.

I don't see him in any danger of being stopped. And scorecards might very well be closer than some might think.

I'm struggling to award Eubank Jr. a single clear-cut round. It seems that Chris needs a miracle.

The 12th is a potential round of the year candidate. Groves wins this one easily.

The cut not only ruined the fight, but it also scuppered Eubank Jr's chance of victory.

junior got embarrassed. i massively overrated him and i wasnt even one of the ppl rating him that highly. just zero skill or intelligence to be seen from him. he had no clue.

That was an ugly Klitchko style fight. I have been informed that Grabves used Wlad as his clinching coach, and it worked.

The scorecards rightly awarded the fight to Groves. Perhaps they were a tad closer than how I scored it.

Eubank Jr. needs to adhere to boxing norms and employ a proper training team. He also needs to go back to 160lbs and commence a rebuilding European-level comeback bout.

He dislocated his shoulder, as his body wasn't ready for so much wrestling.

Groves has a great chance of beating Callum Smith in the final, but he'd be considered the underdog by boxing insiders.

Eubank Jr. insists he's remaining at 168lbs, but he's too small for that weight class. Chris needs to conform with normal training techniques and spend a year refining his skills. He was exposed badly tonight, even though the cut hindered him significantly.

Groves fought the smart fight, backing out of range and holding smartly. I thought it was closer than two of the judges did, but no denying that Jr got schooled tonight.

If only that shoulder had gone earlier..

The two commentators on Balkan channel Arena Sport TV saw Eubank had won.

I would say Grabves won 5 round to 2 or 4 to 2 with nobody deserving a preference in the other 5-6 rounds where they were landing sh!t.

They were not specifying rounds, they were speaking generally, right after the fight. Surely, they are not racists, Groves shares colour skin with them.

i didnt say they were racists. just awful judges. anyone who has that for eubank instantly has no credibility as a judge. he was clowned. he was clueless with the movement and jabs of groves. all he could offer was wild inaccurate swings, and his best round just so happened to be when groves dislocated his arm, not when he actually did much worth attention.

I scored it 7-4-1 Groves.

But no complaints. Eubank appeared amateurish and to me only stayed in the fight through aggresiveness and a host of decent hooks.

But Groves was composed in there and didn't gas as many expected.

I don't think weight played any role. Eubank is only up 1 division from his middleweight days. If you're the better talent, one division shouldn't enter into the equation.

Groves won because he was the better fighter tonight. Not because he was the bigger man.

I don't claim Eubank won (commentators did), and I am sad because GG likely will not be fit for May. It is a great pity.

Nah, he would have lost anyway. Showed nothing that could have won it other than a lucky punch. Shoulda learned the pivot punch.

He's got natural ability and speed but lacks skills.

Why would Smith be favourite?
