Naz you effing legend

Post by handsofstone »

TV highlight of the year Naz going in on the Eubank's post fight telling Jr to retire

Would love to see him pull this sh1t on a Sky card

Naz has to be a regular pundit from now on, working on every channel in the country

That would explain the sweating and the rage that was building up in him, he tore Jr up for shite paper

He made a dig about his IBO belt but I can't remember what it was but it was funny as fvck

He's pretty much right. Eubank has far to many holes in his game to ever be elite, and the totally wrong mindset to work on them.

Eubank can't really get any Better, without the amateur background he just can't develop the skills he needs. Too basic too predictable.

Off his tits and determined to put the boot in to both snr and jnr. Crazy to see a pundit gob it like that. Amusing but can't see him getting many offers after that!

Breath of fresh air and brilliant bit of entertainment from Naz.

TBH Naz did speak some sense but he was a bit OTT, if Jr continues keeping his dad on in a trainer/cornerman capacity then he maybe he should retire but if he gets a new trainer in, changes his attitude then he can pick up an ABC title at some point I'm sure with the right opponent

In saying that it was TV Gold, he needs to be back, boxings missed him, its hard to tell whether he was out of it or he was just being Naz, hilarious when he kept saying "I love you Alicia"

I don't think he was off his tits. He's always been a live wire.

Even though Naz was always brash and confident, he was actually always a poor talker during his career - and this hasn't changed. At the start of the PPV - he said he was interested in finding out how THEY will take losing and his entire sentence was like BOTH were going to lose.

i heard the two Eubanks on the radio yesterday, as well as a close fight which could have gone either way, it was also one where Eubank 'nearly had him out at the end'

There is history with Naz and Eubanks isn't there? I cannot remember the exact story but I am sure part of it was Eubank being accused of stealing the whole jumping the top rope thing from Naz (he saw the kid Naz do it somewhere) and a later story involving an airport, a slap, a punch, a bloodied lip on Eubank and world title belts being slung across the departure lounge.

Delusional. Eubanks himself was far closer to being stopped.

I cant remember the exact details - wasn't it the other way round?

I am sure Senior has posted up a video of one of his early fights where he jumps over the ropes and standing outside the ring is a young (about 15) Naz smiling his head off - and Eubank reckons that Naz nicked his idea.

I also vaguely recall some kind of confrontation as well.

Don't forget that the Eubanks are also saying that Groves was sticking the head on Junior all night long.

Much as Hamed can often be a minefield of self-contradiction, I did find him highly entertaining on Saturday and couldn't help but think that the UK boxing scene has missed him somewhat.
