Will George Groves be fit for the final ?
Re: Will George Groves be fit for the final ?
btw guys, may as well add your voice to the 'who thought eubank won' thread, since it seems to be lacking http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=219230
Re: Will George Groves be fit for the final ?
Surely nobody seriously thinks Eubank won the fight?

Really? I'm very surprised you thought Eubank done enough. I don't even think it was close, the scorecards were too close I thought.candyslim wrote: ↑18 Feb 2018, 14:48 I watched the fight with family members and I was struggling to give it my full attention all of the time.
Bear that in mind when I say I was quite shocked when the compubox stats showed Groves throwing and landing the majority of punches. I had the fight very close but I thought Eubank had done enough to win it.
I wouldn't argue the result but I would be happy if they postpone it until Groves is fit or if Eubank is allowed to progress. Either is fine but definitely not a stand-in who has not participated in the tourney so far.
Give it another watch and you will probably score it differently.

So a guy who wasn't paying attention and didn't even score the fight got the wrong result. How surprising!fightfan95 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2018, 14:33Really? Even if you were watching the fight without much concentration, it was pretty clear Groves was winning?jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑20 Feb 2018, 09:10So a guy who wasn't paying attention and didn't even score the fight got the wrong result.
