I hear he is having a special shelf made for it.

In the bathroom, between the shaving foam and the spare bog roll.

Does AJ ignore his IBO Title?

It's only worth slightly less than a WBA belt these days.

Regardless of it's value, he took it from Jnr and earned it.

It's an achievement he should be proud of.

I’ve got no problem with any belt really, anyone genuinely interested in boxing knows what value each organisation has.
IBO seems to be having a bit of a day in the sun in the U.K. presently, I just genuinely wondered if GG has an issue with IBO or has said anything about it as even straight after the fight he only held up the WBA

Perhaps, but nobody seriously thinks of it as a world title.

I wouldn't disagree with that, but if I were Groves I'd place it in a prominent position and enjoy a wry smile as I look at it in passing.

Only now he's fighting for it. Beforehand he was quite scathing about it.

I was only joking mate. I remember him tweeting about it saying something along the lines of ' everyone knows it's not a genuine world title'.

Why do you think Groves took his shoulder out, he only wanted to have one arm available for his WBA belt.

GGG often shows t off and him and AJ both defend it why not just give it up if they're not bothered I'm sure their costing them money in sanctioning fees

Yeah but why pay them if you don't even acknowledge it, just wasting money

I'm guessing Groves refused to pay the fees.

The IBO website doesn't list Groves as a champion, or Groves vs Eubank as a title fight. Jr's old belt is now vacant.

Not really surprised, since Groves would have had to cough up 3% of his purse...

Just out of interest, do you think GG gets to take the actual belt home with him and IBO produce another or what?

It might be worth shit all in a boxing sense but it is a nice looking belt

I think you keep your belt and another is given to the winner, otherwise all ex champs wouldn't have any belts to keep.
