Which coach can ‘fix’ Eubank Jr?

Freddie Roach is probably the best realistic option.

However since the main thing that's missing from Eubank's skill set is the ability to move around the ring, and use his legs effectively I think he'd benefit the most from somebody like Anatoly Lomachenko. Anatoly obviously had a large part in teaching his son splendid foot work. If Eubank could even pick up a fraction of those kinda foot movement skills he'd improve dramatically as a fighter.

he cant be fixed. way too old and too deluded. he needs a 3 metre run up to throw a punch. if he changed his feet what little power he has would be reduced. he was lucky groves was content to school him. if he faced an assasin like ggg he wouldnt be going the distance. both spike and groves stiffened him up, couldnt or didnt take the risk of putting him away...ggg wouldnt be worried by what was coming back, and would finish him off.
he could be some kind of a gate keeper, tough test to pass, etc...but the money will get less and the punishment will accumulate......unless he goes down the khan route of fighting 3rd tier opponents hoping to get the occasional big money fight where he has no chance of winning.
he could rebrand himself , start calling himself slugger o'toole,

thing is, that all started with Loma as a kid. a blank slate to start from the ground up, not a grown-ass man who's got delusions of his own ability to overcome as well as the technical deficiencies. not to mention, Loma was switched to fight lefty and thats a big reason for why his footwork is so effective, using the southpaw angles

i don't think Loma's dad, Freddie Roach, or Jesus Christ himself could have much effect on his footwork at this stage. i think it would literally take two or three years, at least, maybe even more.

no offenmce but i think you're greatly over-rating what Loma's dad could do and greatly underrating the years it took to get Loma where he is, Eubank just doesn't have the time available.

I'm saying I don't think you can make small incremental improvements in his technique which might show improvement in a couple of months or six months

its starting all over again from zero and totally re-tooling him.

No I'm realistic about it. For one thing I can't imagine that Loma's father would have any interest in training Eubank anyway. For another I said if he could even pick up a fraction of Loma's footwork...as in 5 or 10% it would be a dramatic improvement for him. I would never expect he'd be anywhere near Loma even if he worked toward it the rest of his career. Skills like Loma's you are correct in saying take a lifetime to develop.

I was just throwing it out there as a hypothetical.
