Brook vs. Porter (Porter, close decision, IMO).
Lomachenko vs. Salido (Lomachenko, close decision, IMO).

I think so, I might be wrong, of course.
What about you ?

There might be a few that fit into this category, but I'd have to give it some thought.

I didn't think the Canelo vs Erislandy Lara decision was the least bit controversial. Ditto with Canelo and Cotto. I know there was a large segment of people crying robbery in both of those cases for some reason, but I had Canelo the winner in fights that frankly weren't even particularly close to me...especially the Cotto fight.

Tomoki Kameda should have 2 wins over Jamie McDonnell IMO instead of 2 losses.

I'm sure there's more, but I'd have to think harder on it.

beltran vs burns to me was a fight where beltran had by far the biggest and most memorable moments, but he was also really inactive in a number of other rounds and scoring round by round i could see the draw

basically he won rounds big and burns just inched them by, but on the scoring system there the same barring the 1 kd round

GGG-Canelo(clear decision for GGG)
GGG-Jacobs (close decision for Jacobs)
Saunders-Akavov(clear decision for Akavov)
Danny Garcia- Herrera (close decision Hererra)

There are more but I can't remember them now.

I thought that Algieri was nowhere close to beating Provodnikov.

I had Provodnikov winning that one also. I thought Provo beat Mauricio Herrera as well, and while we're talking about Herrera, Herrera deserved the nod over Danny Garcia...though I don't think the majority would disagree on that.

The majority had Provodnikov winning that fight.

The majority?. There's been so many, I can't even remember. Ask me what percentage I differ from what they call judges. Oh, maybe 95%.

I had Jacobs winning really close fight against GGG by one round.

Maybe not a top level fight but I had Chisora winning over Kabayel. I have to admit that I was watching it from pretty shitty quality video on youtube... Kabayel was not doing much that night and lost most of the exchanges.

I had Ruiz over Parker but I know I was not the only one there. Majority still think Parker got it.

Then one fight that I definitely saw differently than the majority was Fury vs Wlad. Majority of people seem to think that Wlad was having some kind of off night and he was not boxing well that night.

The way I see it is this... Wlad is used to out boxing opponents from the outside using hes long reach and great technical boxing. He is also used to eliminate any infighting by clinching. Remember that hes been doing this for 10 years straight without loosing single fight. Suddenly he is in fight where the opponent has even longer reach than him and is also fast boxer with awkward style. He cannot outbox the opponent from distance. He instinctively clinches every time when they get close.

Wlad cannot find effective range for the whole fight get frustrated even trying to blatantly headbutt Fury. Fury cruises into easy points win.

Wlads age plays a role here too. I believe that few years earlier he would have been sharp enough to nail Fury with one of those straight rights or at least adjust hes style on the fly enough to avoid the loss.

The same Wlad from that night would have beaten any other HW that was around that night.

Fury put on a masterclass of boxing that night :box:

i remember following forums when jacobs vs ggg had ended and the split seemed real close and there were lots of robbery calls. seems like over time the narratives drifted to it being close but clear for ggg when it wasnt at all and it wasnt regarded as such at first

Akavov beat Saunders 116-113 on my card. I have nothing against Saunders. He clearly beat Lemieux but this fight should have been his first loss. If only we had them same judges that scored DeGale vs. Truax

I also had Akavov beating Saunders (close dec), Jacobs beating Golovkin (close dec) and most controversially I had the same card as Adelaide Bird for Canelo/GGG. Shows what I know!

I've watched and scored Floyd/Maidana 1 on several occasions and there's just no way I could score that fight for Floyd. I scored it as a Floyd fan's point of view too a couple times, giving Floyd all of the close rounds where a decision was tough. Still no better than a draw.

There were so many rounds in that fight where Maidana had Floyd locked on the ropes where Floyd was not throwing any punches at all. Maidana was landing to the head and the body in those rounds too. Somehow, judges gave most of those rounds to Floyd.

How can you award a round to a guy locked on the ropes not throwing punches? You won't see a better example of having a fight fixed. Maidana won the fight by one or two rounds in my opinion...worst case draw.

I thought the idea was to be different than majority not different than judges? These fights, you will find a lot of people who felt the way you did.

I'll give you that one. When I look at the title I think of fights like Cotto Mosley and Marquez Barrera where I had the loser edging it but not a lot agree at all.
