I am Sean Daly …ballerina Johnny claimed to have finished me in the first round to record his first stoppage. Bullshit.It was a total farce and involved zero Queensbury rules. I backed nervous Nelson onto the ropes early on in the round. He reacted by crouching and using both gloved hands to pull my neck down and then raise his knee high enough to inflict a deep cut across my eyebrow. The blood flows freely and the inept referee stopped the fight immediately. The presence of ' ballerina style ' Brendan Ingle ensured the total disregard of the Queensbury rules was ignored. My corner team who included the ' voyeur never had a fight in his life' Richard Jones, offered no dispute to the disgusting decision. However I will give manager Jim Macmillan credit for describing exactly what happened in his book ' An alternative view of a boxers record '. The book emphasised how many shysters, sharks and yellow bellies get involved in the game. Still ,c'est la vie but certainly the only regret I have about that night is not having taken the gloves off and stomped the living daylights out of cowardly Nelson and his scumbag co conspirator referee Phil Cowsill. Indeed I am in better shape than then and full of dormant rage. Anytime Champ and bring Phil with you. If you like to play outside the rules this time will have a different outcome ( No weapons involved ,just fist,elbows,head and feet and of course KNEES )
