What if Carlos DeLeon vs Alfonso Ratliff rematch?

If anyone watch Carlos DeLeon losing his WBC Cruiserweight Title to Alfonso Ratliff on YouTube, then you know DeLeon never had a rematch with Ratliff who lost his WBC title to Bernard Benton. Had Ratliff beat Benton to retain his WBC cruiserweight title, would DeLeon do better in their rematch that never happen by jabbing and landing good counter punches to take a decision in 15 rounds? For me DeLeon would and what is your opinion?

DeLeon would win a rematch against Ratliff if DeLeon had the right mindset to win. Unfortunately, Ratliff lost his WBC Cruiserweight Title to Bernard Benton like I mentioned earlier. Thanks for your opinion Niles.

Yes Niles, DeLeon is underrated and should have been recognized by the International Boxing Hall of Fame if they change the rule for the waiting period to reduce from 5 to 3 years like the Basketball Hall of Fame committee did in the last few years in order to avoid 6 years from retiring. Anyways, I wonder what would happen if DeLeon faced guys like Qawi and his fellow countryman Ossie Ocasio?

But he retired in 1995, so he could have been included in the IBHOF every year since 2001 if they though he deserved it.

Thanks Flump and DeLeon won the WBC Cruiserweight Title 4 times. Yes, it was strange that DeLeon and Ocasio never fought and would have been a big fight in Puerto Rico. There were two fighters that retired in the same year as DeLeon that eventually got in long overdue are Lupe Pintor and Brian Mitchell. We don't know when it is a matter of time DeLeon gets inducted in the future and long overdue as the two I mentioned earlier unless there are no big name fighters and change the rule that they need to induct at least 5 fighters from both the old-timers and modern fighters.
