Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
Can't see anybody not agreeing with that.
Fielding hasn't shown anything to prove he can hang with Ramirez...
Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
ramirez destroys him , i cant see any other out come then a 1st or 2nd rd ko
Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
ramirez to me looks the best super midelweight out there cant see anyone matching him
Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
ramirez never shows serious power. couldnt stop max bursak or even drop that tiny ghanan last fight. and that was his first stoppage in something like 8 fights.
dont know why anyone would think a fadt blowout is locked on.

Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
You do agree he has no chance of beating Ramirez though?
Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
ramirez should deffo be a sizable favorite
but i think fielding has a great chance vs someone like zeague

Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
It would be hilarious if Fielding got a world title fight before Callum smith.
Ramirez will beat him comfortably though.

Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
btw to anyone who says fielding must prove himself vs cox first, since some already saying it:
fieldings already beaten ryder, rebrasse (former ebu champ), brophy, blakledge.
not like hes only beaten journeymen, like jamie cox has
you want him to fight a guy less proven then several opponents hes already beat

Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
Agreed. He's Euro level. Zeuge would be his limit I reckon.
He should have tried to pick up the WBA 'Regular' then used it to go after the highest paying World Title fight possible.
Looks like hes going to try jumping in at World level straight off the bat however...
Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
I don't mind fielding personally he seems soundjamamb wrote: ↑03 Mar 2018, 17:02 btw to anyone who says fielding must prove himself vs cox first, since some already saying it:

But he didn't beat Ryder and Rebreasse IMO
Others will back me up on that.
Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
they were super close and i thought he just edged them, many had him winning as well
you seem to want to call robbery on every close fight
beating cox wouldnt add any new level to his record that isnt already there

Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
I didn't say those were robberies. There's much worse cases.
I agree they were close fights. Some here felt Fielding won them others felt he lost.
I just felt Fielding lost them both.
Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
okay, but you say he didnt beat them, as if they were some robberies
he got both decisions and i thought he deserved them

Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
Feel for fielding, Paul smith was giving good opportunities at a time he was more deserving and cox going in the Wb super series he seems to have taken badly I feel for him though I would give him a chance against ZEUGE but he has come

Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
I am puzzled as to what Fielding has done to deserve this shot. Ramirez has blown a bit hot & cold in recent years but he pisses this one all day every day
Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
Easy win for Rocky from Stocky
I'm assuming this will turn into the round by round and also maybe a different fight thread altogether so you can check back and praise me then.

Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
in the last almost 3.5 years ramirez has only scored 1 kd and 1 stoppage (vs a tiny poor ghanian). hes good but ppl overstate his damaging ability
not that he wouldnt bust up rocky, but i wouldnt say its at all a lock that he stops him rather then win a wide decision

Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
I like Rocky but he's a couple of steps behind Ramirez.
Ramirez doesn't seem to have great power but I think he's got enough bto stop Rocky late on.

Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
When is Ramirez going to fight the best guys?
Fielding is going to be another soft target fed to zurdo.
And yet, Fielding is probably the 2nd best opponent in his career
It's pathetic. I'm sure Eubank would have a go?
I like Rocky, but as others have said, he is Euro level.

Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
I’ve a feeling the bookies are gonna cock this up when they first put their odds out.
Re: WHO WINS? Gilberto Ramirez vs. Rocky Fielding
He's got a few decent wins to be fair. Probably more deserving than Caleb Truax, Rogelio Medina, Jamie Cox, Max Bursak, Habib Ahmed, Ronald Gavril, Giovanni De Carolis, Isaac Ekpo and Paul Smith who have all had title shots in the past 2-3 years.
