By round 6 Allen slowed up and Thomas nicked enough rounds to take the win.
I feel they are roughly on the same level, Thomas a bit more skilled, but Allen younger and should have been a little fitter.
For sure he deserves this.
You don't have to be the best fighter to be popular, Dave puts bums on seats, Eddie likes that. And I enjoy his fights as well as the build up.

I would really like to see Allen win the Commonwealth title and gain revenge over Thomas, I thought he nicked the first fight but it was close and he cant have any complaints, he said he was in shape going into that one but he was basic and plodding, really slow and had no snap on most of his punches

Thomas is a lot faster and southpaw and has a decent shot selection for a HW but his engine was poor and I think he felt a couple of Allen's punches but Allen couldn't press and it was pretty disappointing all round

Allen's probably the funniest boxer around today, talks a lot of sense, is a realist and i'd love to see him beat Thomas and by the looks of things he's finally got himself in shape, he'll know this is his last chance so I'm expecting an inspired performance, as I said I thought he nicked the first fight despite being flat so I think he wins this one and maybe even by KO as surely this time he'll be able to make the most of his openings

Maybe true but it doesn't mean he cant beat Thomas this time around, I'm not the only one who thought he won the last fight and even though he fooled me before the 1st fight, I think he'll put in a career best performance this time, he looks in terrific shape

Considering all his twitter bollox about being the cock of the school and now the hardest on his estate etc. He might want to throw a few punches this time.

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to sit through this fight the first was absolutely awful as have a few dave Allen's fights have been the gavern fight was terrible the whyte fight was like an exhibition he did himself proud against ortiz but when ortiz stepped it up he was stopped he's now got a big following on twitter and says he's going to be in the best shape so hopefully he puts a shift in as I can't see him on sky again if it's an other stinker and he doesn't get the result

He looks in great shape. Thank goodness for that. Thomas is a year older, and Allen is fitter.
Now if he can keep the pressure on Thomas and not fade, I think he has this one.

Aw man I'm fvcking gutted for Allen, got himself in the shape of his life only to get cut by a headclash in the opening round, it was an accident but Thomas was the who brought the head up, from what little we seen Thomas seemed to be quicker off the mark but Allen seemed to be just having a look, gutting for Allen
