Didn't realise you had to be a Mensan to excel at boxing.....

Mayweather wasn't Einstein either.
Re: Deontay Wilder is too stupid to be Heavyweight Champ ...
If you could fight and challenge him this would be interesting. But you can't so it isn't.

If he's too stupid to be heavyweight champ, then how come he is?
Re: Deontay Wilder is too stupid to be Heavyweight Champ ...
I don't know if you were being ironic but Wilder doesn't strike me as a stupid man at all, especially for a boxer who, meaning no disrespect, probably score lower for average IQ than say, for example, a similar sample of investment bankers.

It doesn't look like it's made of paper to me.

Anyone not impressed with KO'ing Ortiz in that fashion is a homer and not a fan of the sport.SenorPipino wrote: ↑04 Mar 2018, 15:57He's still got the belt.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑04 Mar 2018, 13:37Paper champSenorPipino wrote: ↑04 Mar 2018, 12:47 If he's too stupid to be heavyweight champ, then how come he is?

He's definitely the #2 man in the division, but if everybody is "Champ" then nobody is "Champ". There's only one Champion.SenorPipino wrote: ↑04 Mar 2018, 15:57He's still got the belt.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑04 Mar 2018, 13:37Paper champSenorPipino wrote: ↑04 Mar 2018, 12:47 If he's too stupid to be heavyweight champ, then how come he is?

That being said nobody at Heavyweight has a firm claim to it at the moment.
Re: Deontay Wilder is too stupid to be Heavyweight Champ ...
There is no number one heavy in the world...yet. Those two boys will have to duke it out, given Joshua gets past Parker.gilgamesh wrote: ↑04 Mar 2018, 16:00He's definitely the #2 man in the division, but if everybody is "Champ" then nobody is "Champ". I just go where the conversation is. If you didn't post in stupid conversation that goes on around here there'd just be no conversation around here

That could go in a few different directions...so to speak...Sequitorian wrote: ↑04 Mar 2018, 19:27... I did ... once ... challenge him ... at the urging of Emile Griffith ... it was all in fun, though ...
Nothing wrong with a little trash talk but Wilder doesn't come across to me as stupid.

He's an idiot ... in the same way that Donald Trump is an idiot ...
Re: Deontay Wilder is too stupid to be Heavyweight Champ ...
Most investment bankers aren't that intelligent with OUR money... Most of them aren't Warren Buffett.
The idiocies of investment bankers (plus the lack of regulation of investment bankers from the Dubya Administration) put us in the 2008 Great Recession... It put 12 million Americans out of work and forced the US Government to do a taxpayer bail out of all the major investment banks - otherwise they, along with a great many corporations and the major Auto companies would have been destroyed -- and the Great Recession would have been 3 X worse than it was.
If you asked me to trust the average investment banker or Deontay Wilder with my money? ... It would be a tough choice... Maybe Wilder would just put it all in Apple and Tesla...
Re: Deontay Wilder is too stupid to be Heavyweight Champ ...
Wilder works a lot harder at his job than Trump does....and so far he hasn't gone bankrupt 4 times... Off the result of the Luis Ortiz fight you have to say Wilder isn't as lame as our fat and sassy POTUS.Sequitorian wrote: ↑04 Mar 2018, 21:17 He's an idiot ... in the same way that Donald Trump is an idiot ...

Idiots don't become one of the most recognized business moguls of the 20th and 21st centuries and parlay that into becoming perhaps the most powerful figure in the world.
Obviously your bias is showing. Same as with Wilder.
