Daniyar Yeleussinov to sign with Matchroom
Daniyar Yeleussinov to sign with Matchroom
Seems as though Hearn will announce the signing of Daniyar Yeleussinov tomorrow.
You might remember Yeleussinov as the 2016 Olympic champion at Welterweight. He defeated Josh Kelly in the first round en route to the gold medal.
He also won the 2013 World Championships and holds a win over Josh Taylor from the 2011 Worlds.

Remember watching the maestro, if he takes to the pros like Kelly has so far, he'll find a world title easy to come by. Type of lad that I imagine Eddie will farm all around the world, should definitely have him on a couple of UK cards before the years' out, couple of US shows too, maybe even Germany.

I'd imagine Camp Eddie will bang on and on about the Taylor wins to Kugan and challenge Bazza and Shane. He wants revenge for Quigg and OD.

off topic but anyone know if the guy who battered fowler in the olympics turned pro? He looked some fighter. Levels better than fowler.

No matter how good he is Eddie will have his work cut out promoting and selling Yeleussinov .

Is this the reason for his inactivity? Anyone know what he is doing now?Boxing Prospect wrote: ↑06 Mar 2018, 21:40...well....kind of....he made his pro debut then went back to amateurs then fought a second pro bout...he's blurring the lines
