i was always very critical of his record, thought
he was better than his match making. ortiz was
a difficult opponent and as with stiverne wilder
was very careful, which almost cost him the fight.
but this is boxing, you don't win easy on top level.
but if you are too critical with him, none of the ATGs
had only clean wins without question marks. but
deontay showed chin and determination and got
it done.
i don't think it made very much of a difference,
but the additional time he got at the beginning
of that round was really weird. never have seen
anything like that and it comes very close to
corruption in my view. this requires investigation
IMHO.
all said and done. wilder is finally for real. not
invincible, but no bum either. DW - AJ is probably
the biggest fight in boxing right now.
