Harry Greb: 1st Ever Million Dollar KING!

Post by gilgamesh »

The Million Dollar Champion and the Super Six King!

The Greatest achievement in Sim History from the Greatest Fighter and Manager in Sim History.

Hell even the losses my man Greb has suffered this season have only been as a result of shady officiating. Nobody has beaten my man legitimately, and now there's nothing anybody can say to ever deny his greatness or mine as his manager.

All Hail King Harry! And kiss the ring of the Brain bitches!

Being great comes so easy to me I just stand here all casual about it, leaving all you suckers with a dumbfounded look on your face

I was going to make a thread earlier when I did the update, but I suspected that you would want to make the declaration.

Congratulations on your two massive wins.

Greatest fighter in Sim history, well that's a no. Greb might not even finish in the 2000 point club. You can't knock winning both tournaments, though luck was involved in both.

3x World Champion

Held Every World Title in the Sim

Made 10 Title Defenses of the MGM Grand Cup before vacating and maintaining permanent Resident status at the luxurious Hotel

Won the Million Dollar Tournament

Won the Super Six Tournament

The 1st Ever....Let me repeat that because you don't seem to get it. FIRST EVER MILLION DOLLAR KING!

The majority of his losses came from corrupt DQ's or otherwise shady officiating. Nobody has ever really beaten up Harry Greb in the entire season and nobody could.

The only guy knocking him and trying to discredit him as the Greatest in Sim History is the guy that's got sour grapes because his shady DQ win over my man Greb wasn't enough to pave your way to Sim Greatness. So close and yet so far Geto :OhYes:

All those accomplishments can't be knocked, yet again he's barely in the 2000 point club. You were also assisted in this season taking way too long and most managers dropping out or matching against whoever. Not knocking what Greb has done, but it's the truth.

The best Sim fighters I've seen are Duran or Ali, in their respective seasons. The point totals back that point up as well. In this season, Greb isn't at the top in point total. Nobody cares about the MGM Grand run either. Robinson is 2-1 against him this season.. Greb avoided the initial rematch from their first fight where Greb won a debatable decision, now he's dancing around a rematch to end the season. Well, I'm taking that off the table. Robinson more season points, Robinson 21 vs Greb....

He trolls. Robinson should have got the nod vs Greb in their first fight. Greb was getting smacked around in their second fight, down on points, and took a DQ. Robinson 2-1 vs Greb.

Greb has a chance to be his first H.O.F. fighter, and can hopefully give him a 2000 point season. Maybe he'll finally get voted into the hall after this many seasons. Took him long enough to join the party....

 Your comments can't hide the taste of your sour grapes my friend.

I really no longer care about achieving further Sim Greatness in future seasons (though I will anyway because I'm so great I simply achieve without trying), but that don't mean I don't still have big plans for upcoming Sim Seasons. Stay tuned :OhYes:

I also just noticed it would be your first 2000 point season. As many seasons as you played, I'd thought you'd have a 2000 point fighter or H.O.F. fighter by now.

The focus at the BrainTrust isn't "Points" it's Dollars. I've had 2 Million Dollar Champions. Only Kevo has matched this feat. Very few managers have raked in the kinda Sim Cash that I have. I've played only 4 Boxrec Sim seasons, and I've already achieved things that you guys haven't in 2 or 3 times as many seasons. Possibly even more than that hell I don't know how many there's been.

The facts speak for themselves.

In 4 Seasons I've done more than most of you guys will ever do in the Sim.

Points...ha. They give you a lot of money for having points? Because they gave Harry a Million Dollars and permanent room for free at the MGM Grand for his achievements. :OhYes:

He got another mint for being crowned the Super Six King.

Trust me. We at the BrainTrust are doing just fine. You fellas are the ones that are gonna have to catch up to where I'm at. I'm on top of the mountain...and the view is good :OhYes:

there is suspicion that referee Mark Green received a payment from the brain trust to give Greb an advantage in the fight versus Joe Gatti. After beating Greb from pillar to post for 4 rounds including knockdowns in the first two rounds and with a wide lead on all judges scorecards Gatti was stopped by the referee while still on his feet and still in the fight.

The Commission will be investigating this matter.

As if Greb needed to grease any wheels to beat Joe Gatti. Now I admit Gatti had a hell of a performance that night, due largely in part to the fact that Greb completely overlooked him and took victory for granted. Greb learned from that mistake, and never took such a lax approach to a fight again in the season.

You're so Hell bent on having Greb maintain a 2000 point season, you elected to face Danza. Not unify all the belts, not get revenge on Robinson.

Robinson is already in the H.O.F. with hardware, and might get in with this season too.

You act like total points don't matter, yet you are taking zero risks to get Greb to stay above 2K. You're desperate for it at this point with the Danza fight.

The thirst is real....

Nah my guy Greb is simply doing something nice for me his manager. It's a charity bout. Why would he need to beat Robinson again? He's already beaten the guy, and was gonna beat him in the Super 6, but it took a bought off referee to save Robinson.

Brag all you want about your tainted victories. You ain't got the Million Dollar Belt or the Super Six Trophy, and you ain't the manager of the Million Dollar King. :OhYes:

Was it the way I wanted to win, of course not. Swap that out for your bad decision, and Robinson is still 2-1 Vs Greb. Also Greb got 4!! warnings, I think for the same foul. If he wasn't DQ'd, Robinson would be down by a point and a couple of points on the other twice cards. Seeing the comebacks he's made this season, the fight was hardly over.

Greb was so fearful of Robinson during the season, the only fights after your early season decision "win" (no agreed rematch was ever given as well) was a mandated title shot between the two and the Super Six. I offered you the chance to set the record straight in week 40, and you declined. No matter, Monzon is a great fight to end the season on.

Greb had a great year winning two tournaments. That can't go unnoticed. Also what can't go unnoticed is he isn't even top 5 in total points, a direct indication of his overall season. He was the #1 drafted fighter (probably the highest rating) and you were desperate for a 2000 point season, so facing Danza to preserve it. So I'm done discussing it. Even your trolling alter ego the Brain knows he is on the run from Robinson!!

Congrats on the season overall from Greb. Hopefully he will be your first H.O.F. fighter. On to next year!

Greb's not on the run from anybody. He simply has nothing more to prove having already beaten every participant in the Super 6, and pretty much every other meaningful name in the division as well.

There comes a time in every fighters career when it's time to relax and enjoy the fortune you've built should you have been so lucky or talented. For my man Greb that time is now. He's simply doing a favor for his manager who done right by him on the way out...for which I'm most grateful.

No need for any further jabs at my Million Dollar King. He's at peace with his rivalry with Robinson, and you should be too :OhYes:

I am as well with the Robinson/Greb rivalry. He did his job in their fights. Was just offering Greb the option to end any gripes he might have.

I still want the Calzaghe rematch against Froch though......... :bag:

Much was accomplished by the various also rans, in a season where GoldenBuzz Promotions were blatantly blindsided by barbarian backstabbing buffoons.

With that qualifier succinctly stated, and with all other due respect, we hereby begrudgingly give our quasi-respectful accolades to all those who profited from such skullduggery.

Gilg....you don't know a lick about boxing....but you did manage to draft a fighter who was never filmed and parlay that shroud of mystery, intrigue and "benefit of the doubt" that the various software writers were forced to include in Harry's digital codex, in an exploitive manner, and garner some degree of success.

This can not be denied.....and can never be taken away from you.

For that you should be given full credit.
