No problem. If you'll notice Greb never did ask the commission to sanction this fight as a title bout. He was simply scheduling his opponent and pointing out the words of the commission that he was allowed to defend his title against "ANY OPPONENT THAT HE DEEMED WORTHY"

Now where I come from ANY means ANY. Not just ANY as long as it's a guy we have in mind, but I guess that's my fault for having a proper understanding of the English language ;-)

But no as I said. the cause is for charity, and it's the reason why Greb is fighting this particular fight in the final week.

Anybody that's anybody in the Sim he's already bested. He simply wants to do something nice for his manager who helped him achieve the greatest heights in Sim History this season.

In all fairness to any human being alive. If you fight the baddest of the bad all these fights in a row like Greb has, don't you think you've earned an easier bout to go out on? I certainly don't think it's unreasonable.

Monzon vs Robinson?

Now wouldn't that be a fine fight to tell the grandkids about...
Tell Mr Pavlik and Mr Darcy to get lost...
No better way to end the season....

Unless one of us fought Tony Danza......

Freddie Steele would like to change opponents as well and take on Holman Williams again, hoping to avenge a loss earlier in the season.

Also, an idea I wanted to try an implment next year, but can the fight be 12 rounds?

I think next year it would be a fun idea to add rounds to fights. Two managed fighters could be a 12 round fight to start like now, but could be negotiated to 15 rounds. All titles 15 round fights. A non managed fight could be 10 rounds as usual, but the manager could opt for 12 rounds. I just think certain fights, less or more rounds could benefit a fighter. Would add to the matchmaking, I think. Unless it is too much work on running the Sim, then Hell with it,

Negotiating rounds for fight between Managers could work (I think) with the understanding that all four World Championship fights MUST remain 15 rounders.

Also, we are bringing back Mandatory defences next season.

Goldenbuzz issues a stable challenge to FOL For Charity of course.......

if accepted we guarantee our current commish will be dealt the agony of defeat in no uncertain terms.

If he runs......well we will simply mark it down as a victory for our stable and choose alternative victims.

This goes down in SIM history as the greatest last minute choke of all time.

Greb.......in the last reel of the film.....a film that has NOT A SINGLE FRAME OF HIM ACTUALLY FIGHTING in the Sim universe (or any other universe for that matter) is unequivocally outed as being a total 100% Fake news fabrication. Beyond even Trumponian proportions.

How the f*ck was I ever unmatched? I made my intentions clear a week ago. Just because you motherf*ckers can't read don't mean I was unmatched.

What's a choke about having a plan and sticking to it? The fight Harry Greb had is the fight he planned to have. It was announced on the last page.

Crease billing me as "Unmatched' was merely an oversight on his part.

Thankfully Fist of Legend follows the thread closely and made the appropriate matchup. Even billed it as the charity event that it was.
