Ritson v Cardle
On the undercard of whyte v browne for the British lightweight title
Who wins?
Who wins?
Re: Ritson v Cardle
Ritson is the man of the moment , stopped 7 of his last 8 opponents and can only see this going the same way . Feel
He’s just too big strong and accurate for Scotty .

Imo Lewis will be too much for Scott Cardle, Lewis seems the better schooled fighter with better skills all around. The 2 fights with Masher Dodd kind of showed us the level that Scott is at and imo Lewis will probably get the job done inside the distance one he figures out the movement of Cardle.

Re: Ritson v Cardle
Good, about time they added another fight to this card.
Cardle will try and stay out of trouble in the first half of the fight in the hope Ritson will tire (the Joe Gallagher special as some know it).
But once Ritson finds his range there will only be one winner.

I Cardle boxes at his best this will be a very good close fight.. Will need to be
on his game hit and. Move.. Really really like this fight Lewis needs to be tested and Cardle is tough enough to provide that test should stylistically make for a very entertaining fight., Genuine 50/50 if Cardle is at his best slightly favour Ritson in this one
Re: Ritson v Cardle
Comfortable win for Ritson.
Re: Ritson v Cardle
Ritson mid to late stoppage.
Re: Ritson v Cardle
Incredibly the bookies have opened up with Cardle at 7/1 in this one Ritson is 1/16, crazy odds, I am like you slightly favour Ritson but those odds are plain bonkers.daviddee wrote: ↑07 Mar 2018, 10:14 I Cardle boxes at his best this will be a very good close fight.. Lost his title to Barrett who ritson walked through then look what he done to joe Murray
Re: Ritson v Cardle
Hard to look past Ritson in this fight. Cardle hasn't been impressive in recent fights.
Re: Ritson v Cardle
If Cardle brings his 'A' game then his style could well present Ritson with a challenge. However, talented a boxer as Scotty is, I have never been entirely convinced that he is 100% in love with the sport. I can't help but feel this one is a case of one fighter who is very much on the up versus one who is just looking for a couple more decent paydays before getting out of the business. Cardle may have enough savvy to survive the distance but has to be a comprehensive Ritson win for my money.

Re: Ritson v Cardle
It wasn't that long ago Cardle was talking about himself being beyond domestic level. Funny how things change. Here he is battling for his old belt in a fight no one thinks he can win.
Re: Ritson v Cardle
Ritson for me, don't reckon that much of cardle
Re: Ritson v Cardle
Fair play to Ritson taking another fight so soon after the Murray defence. I know it was an early KO but a lot of fighters wouldn't be out again so soon.
Re: Ritson v Cardle
I thought he should get at least one vote. He is taking the fight, so that deserves something.
Re: Ritson v Cardle
Really looking forward to this fight, big fan of Riston, Cardle will be a tricky test with all his movement (though he forgets to make his opponents pay when he makes them miss much too often) but I think Riston will solve the puzzle and look good doing it. Which isn't easy to do against Cardle, I believe Lewis has the goods to be a world champion one day, if he looks good against Scotty I'd really like to see Riston in with Campbell within his next fight or two.
