ha ha, i am stealing that. big balls from the lad if true. he is certainly willing to learn the hard way. young enough to still be around at his peak when all those ahead of him at the moment will be retired/past it. good on him, will learn loads

Fair play to him agreed.

I don't think it's right to go into fights that you know you are going to lose though. Surely he knows he hasn't got a prayer here? I'd like to see him or his trainer hooked up to a lie detector test and asked if they think they will win the fight. I know what the result of Hearns test would be

campbells actually older then most of the top fighters from 130 to 140. loma, garcia, easter, berchelt, davis, flanagan, taylor, etc all younger

tbh i wouldnt be that excited for it, seems theres a real strong to desire to think that campbells better then he really is, that hell be that pro star he looked he could be vs tommy coyle like opponents on the way up, rather then an excellent amateur whose merely a good but not great pro

although i prefer campbell to beltran

Last i heard Lomachenko was due to fight Linares. Is there really much of a difference? I actually think Loma would make much lighter work of Linares and stop him quicker than he would Luke imo.

I'd rather wait and see if it happens. I certainly don't think too much of this

Like someone else said Lima will probably fight Beltran

Which is crap but at least we see a proven drug cheat smashed to pieces

Good fight. Loma will win but Campbell will make him work for it.

He'll put up a better showing than alot of Loma's victims.

ya because everyone here is just viciously verbally abusing campbell, thats exactly whats gone on, or maybe try reading the thread again. you sure love the 'you guys are so unfair and negative and biased!!' angle dont you honeyman

tbh the reaction seems favourable enough, you saying its great, someone saying campbells more interesting then linares , another person saying good fight and that campbell will have more success then a number of loma opponents. then someone saying campbell will be young enough to come again, another person saying fair play for taking the fight, etc. some neutral comments in there about loma vs beltran , etc.

i said its not interesting but theres nothing unfair at all about saying your not interested in the fight or that you think campbell isnt near that level etc. thats a fair opinion with evidence for it. theres no obligation to shower luke campbell or the fight with praise. remember that guys take fights vs better opponents all the time. i mean did you post a similar message when ppl werent lavishing miguel marriaga with praise even though he not only fought loma, but moved up to do it?

I honestly don't know how to beat Loma. Tie him to a corner maybe. Get Foreman to sit on him while you punch his face? He's so good

Beltran is done. He just got schooled for half a fights worth vs Paulus Moses - glad he got the belt but he's a significant step down at this stage from Walters, Rigondeux, etc.

Loma fighting over on our shores is enough for me. If Campbell fights him in the 02 London, good luck to him as this is a treat for UK fight fans to see Loma live in London.
