Why hasn't Mikey Garcia called out the best fighter around his current weight class like oh, i don't know, Loma? He'll call out Spence Jr but not someone a few pounds away that would be a great treat for the fans and possibly the biggest fight of the year. Oh I know why, because Mikey Garcia is a fraud. Talented, i'll give you that. But a cherry picking yapper is not a fighter I tend to root for.
Loma is just now moving from 130 to 135 so why would Garcia call him out? He already expressed a desire to fight Loma when he met him at ESPN studios and they posed for that pic together (which was posted many times in this forum).

Garcia will have top-notch competition at 140 in the form of Prograis or soon-to-be WBC champ Jose Ramirez. If Loma wants to fight Mikey bad enough he can move up to 140 after a few fights at 135. If Loma is the fearless warrior you claim he is why is he wasting time with face-first brawler Raymundo Beltran, who literally has no more chance to beat Loma than Lipinets does to beat Garcia?

You've already established yourself as #1 Garcia-hater at BoxRec Current Scene forum, so your critique has little cred.

This! Caldo should consider not ever posting again. This guy is one of the worst posters on this forum. Never seen anything remotely credible from him.

To be honest I never paid him much mind other than his hatefests against Garcia so now I think the best way to deal with him is to just ignore him.

I'm not a Loma fan if that's what you're intimating. I'm just not a Mikey fan or by any means his #1 hater. I'm a fan of his talent but not of the way he's conducted himself as a professional. I won't bore you any further with that but if you think that Lipinets has a chance to upset Garcia, you're crazy.

Steve Farhood came out with his top 10 @ 140lbs last night on Showtime's telecast and he had Garcia ranked at 1 and Lipinets was 6 or 7 on the list, even though he holds a belt. If you're a person with a brain, you can understand what that makes Lipinets...i'll spell it out for you. It's an EASY BELT GRAB for Garcia. Just like the 3 other World Titles Mikey Garcia picked up along the way. Not a significant victory of any kind.

So tomorrow, Lipinets will never be heard of again...like the rest of the weak title holders Garcia hunted down for these bogus titles.

Yes you are. I can't bother reading the rest of your post. Also, post Farhood's top 10. I didn't catch it.

3 pages to discuss this mismatch. Lipinets is a basic fighter. Nothing special about him at all. Easy easy fight for Mikey. Won’t lose a round.

Honestly, I have never watched Lipinets, but I feel this will be a mismatch.

So do the oddsmakers.

Mikey Garcia is a 1-20 favorite.

I suppose that some of them (oddsmakers) had to watch Lipinets.

Question is can he (Lipinets) survive 12 rounds. Given where he was born and his kickboxing background, which I think is a very tough and painful sport and that he’s naturally heavier...I just assume he is tough and can take a beating.
