Is Jermall Charlo better than Daniel Jacobs?
Is Jermall Charlo better than Daniel Jacobs?
They faced off with each other back stage at the Barclays Center last week. Let's just say they are not friends.
Who do you like in this proposed fight? How does it play out?

From waht ive seen, Jacobs seems better. Charlos defense is poor compared to him, maybe he can take punch better than Jacobs, but who knows.

Re: Is Jermall Charlo better than Daniel Jacobs?
Charlo and Jacobs are Haymon stablemates and their corridor "face off" was simply a show for the media.
They both embraced, winked and smiled after their insincere WWE style theatrical "confrontation".
I believe all of the PBC guys get on really well.
The fight is possible in the long-term, but with both being in touching distance of meeting the eventual winner of the GGG-Canelo rematch, they will inevitably stay away from each other to minimise the risk of losing out on a mega-money payday.
They both could stand to lose far more than they would gain by facing each other right now, which means the bout won't happen just yet.

NO....................The Miracle Man prevails close dec.
Re: Is Jermall Charlo better than Daniel Jacobs?
I highly doubt that. There's a lot of fighters and undoubtedly a lot of big egos. They're not going to all be cool with each other because they have the same manager.
Re: Is Jermall Charlo better than Daniel Jacobs?
This is the kind of fights we need, and boxing needs. They will try to hold out for a bigger money fight, but hopefully these two will fight to let us know who is the second or third best Middleweight. Right now I have GGG as the best. Canelo doesn't count anymore in my book.

Impossible to predict.
Charlo looks good but no one can dispute that the opposition has been soft.
Centeno won't provide answers as to Charlo's true worth. He's a 25-1 underdog.
I'll go with Jacobs right now. At least we know that he can perform well against high level opponents.
Some question his chin quality, but it was solid enough to get him through 12 close rounds with Golovkin, right?

I think Charlo wins this fight somewhat easily. Probably by KO with the help of the juice.

Interesting to see how this play's out - But with Jacob's now signed to Matchroom and Hearn - the US market will want to see Danny Jacob's back in a big fight. I see Hearn pushing for the Golovkin/Canelo winner for Jacob's in interviews with the US media. You also have Billy Joe Saunders in the mix, but it does seem as if the division is holding out to see how events in Vegas play out on Cinco de Mayo.
