"Don't blink" fights.

Post by VG_Addict »

Everyone likes a fight between 2 hard punchers with shaky chins, because the fight could end at any time.

So, what were some such fights?

Many times when 2 hard punchers with weak chins meet, they are aware of that and fight went 12 rounds :box: :box: :box:

Povetkin-Price (31 March) will probably only last a few seconds.

2 were David Tua Fights .... vs John Ruiz and Michael Moorer... Don't grab a slice of pizza as the fight is starting.

Funny.... Both became Heavyweight Champions and Tua never did.... Bad Timing.

Amir Khan's early fights where all 'blink and yuou'll miss it'

I remember one, where just before it started I went to the loo.. Came back literally a minute later and it was over.

Kendall Holt was actually involved in 2 fights like that. He had another one that's largely forgotten by Boxing fans against a guy named Thomas Davis that was really wild as well. Davis gets rocked all around the ring for the first 2 minutes or so, and then lands a big shot dropping Holt and pours it on to finish him before the end of the 1st!

Koba Gogaladze vs Ji Hoon Kim was a blast as well

Vargas only showed a shaky chin post Tito. And while Tito has been down several times in his career, all but one were flash knockdowns. Tito took great shots from some monster punchers.

Hard to beat it. If I remember correctly, not even the cameramen were ready...

They weren't. You actually barely see the KO shot until the replay.

As I recall Grimsley was so out of it he was still throwing punches while on the canvas. I've only seen that a couple of other times.

I had to replay that one like six times before I saw the punch flush...I was sitting there with my snacks and BAM! Over.

3 rounds max I'm thinking, and that's only if Povetkin is being kind and not throwing any right hands.

Price looks good until he steps up competition...Reminds me of Gerry Cooney.

He's looked like sh*t every time out in recent fights. Even a 6 rounder against a bum he looked like sh*t last time out. He's mentally shot. Even if he's still physically capable his confidence in himself is virtually non-existent.

I think Cooney would've kicked Price's ass for what that's worth.
