I predict that a heavyweight unification bout between Deontay Wilder and. . .

Post by actjac »

Joseph Parker will take place in Las Vegas at the end of January 2019.

A fight involving Al Haymon/Shelly Finkle negotiating with Duco/Top Rank will get made quickly.

After March 31 Anthony Joshua will have to get back in line.

No he won't because he's got a rematch clause in the contract.

I'd pay for Haymon/Finkle death match.

You think if you say it enough you'll make it come true?

Has 3 evenly matched fights against Takam, Ruiz and H Fury, doesn't look overly convincing against Cojanu...

Then he beats Joshua?

Sorry, don't see it.

I don't know if he beats AJ, but I have a feeling it'll be better than most think. Parker is a pretty good fighter with some aspects that may be tough for AJ. I look forward to a good fight.

I think he'll go rounds. I also think once he gets popped with a stiff jab or two he'll be reluctant to let his hands go. That will negate his speed advantage, and stop him winning many of those rounds. Hope it is a good one though. :TU:

The decisive factor will be Parker's chin, definitely.

That just decides what round he loses in, or if he has Vitali Klitschko's chin, loses a decision.

I give him virtually no chance of actually winning the fight.

I think he'll put up a good challenge. Frustrate AJ. But as Louis once said, "he can run, but he can't hide."

I think the chance of a unification bout between Wilder and Povetkin is even bigger.
Or Tyson Fury, that one actually got a fair chance.

Never thought I'd say this, but Boxing needs that lunatic. (Tyson Fury). I think he's hysterical and a tough match to look good in.

Povetkin and Fury both need belts first and that seems a long way away as things stand.

I think Manuel Char is willing to fight Tyson Fury, so Tyson only needs to get ranked

Fury is a draw no matter what he's done at this point. So getting ranked (Ruiz Jr. did it with one bum fight) is key and easy.

Does he hit anybody with his chin??? ... Takam's chin isn't that epic. He was put out by Povetkin and Joshua... For those who say it was an early stoppage in the AJ fight, that is true... But he staggered twice and was badly hurt... Joshua was in the process of putting him away when the referee stepped in a tad early... It was another Froch-Groves 1.

When Parker hit Takam nothing happened... Nobody blinked...

By the way,, Razvan Cojanu also goes out... At least when Donovan Dennis hit him he did... When Parker hit him nada...

If his chin takes the fight to late rounds, it just may be. AJ has faded before.
