i thought chisora beat whyte, and he obviously deserved to beat helenius though thats some years ago now. the stoppage of unbeaten scott was decent, ortiz didnt stop him and glazkov only drew with him.

dels better then many give him credit for but obv not a top of the line fighter

and about thompson/pulev, he wasnt on a losing streak when pulev beat him, he was coming off the price wins and he beat solis right after pulev beat him

but clearly deontay has a better record then pulev

wilder:

ortiz
stiverne x2
duhaupas
szpilka
washington
scott
molina
arreola

pulev:

chisora
thompson
ustinov
dimitrenko
johnson
rossy
sprott
walker

dont get me wrong, pulev comfortably has a top 10 record, but thing is that after the first 4 names, pretty much everyone else on pulevs record was in journeyman mode by the time he fought them. whereas with wilder pretty much all the guys i listed where top 15 at the time

And pulev hasnt beaten a legit top 5 guy like wilder has. and its 2 years since pulevs last relevant win.

Only Stiverne (with a lot of luck) and Scott were top 15...

No Pulev has not beaten a lot of decent fighters. Peter's? Thompson? Chisora? All on the end of losing streaks.
Ustinov is average at best.

Wilder has consistently beaten better opposition in his last 12 fights as to what Pulev accomplished in his entire career
Chisora was at the end of a losing streak when he fought Pulev?
Who has Chisora ever beat?
He is a journeyman nothing wrong with it.
But that's all he ever was or will be
You said he was at the end of a losing streak when he fought Pulev though :maybe:

He was trying to rebuild. But he's only decent when there's a personal element to the fight.

Anyway, back to my original point. Why is Ugonoh above Ruiz that the list I originally quoted?

Fury has shown up in a few of these. If I had to do it again, I would HAVE to include him...he's so tough to fight.

This is the top ten list for SUPER HEAVYWEIGHTS (boxers that are 6 foot 4 inches tall or more) in the SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT division:

1) Tyson Fury

2) Anthony Joshua

3) Deontay Wilder

4) Kubrat Pulev

5) Joseph Parker

6) Luis Ortiz

7) Dominic Brezeale

8) Jarrell Miller

9) Hughie Fury

10) Gerald Washington

This is the top 5 list for 'small' or 'short' heavyweights shorter than 6 feet 4 inches:

1) Alexander Povetkin

2) David Haye

3) Tony Bellew

4) Andy Ruiz Jr

5) Carlos Takam

These 2 set / group of boxers don't belong in the same weight division.

1. Joshua
2. Wilder
3. Povetkin
4. Ortiz
5. Parker
6. Pulev
7. Takam
8. H. Fury
9. Miller
10. Whyte
11. Browne
12. Breazeale
13. Ruiz Jr.
14. Rivas
15. Hrgovic

And yes, I do think the division is in such a sorry state, that a rookie with a handful of fights is better than anyone I haven't named.

I estimated him to be a rank 20 ish, I always have actually, somehow I predicted it when he was still rank 600 or so and nobody in the boxing world knew much about him except for Mayweather jr who already offered him a contract years ago when he was still a welterweight. Now he's 11-0 with only KO wins and everybody start to notice him.
