Probably Lerena, although how he's not there when Bejenaru and Bellew (heavyweight, whether he should be or not) are, is laughable.

As impartial as TBRB are supposed to be, they don't half have some puzzling names on some of their lists...

yes tbrb have some puzzlers

they currently rank nate gallimore as the #5 in the world at 154 and have had him as high as #4. just totally bizarre to me how that ranking could be arrived at when youve got a panel of like 50 knowldegable boxing ppl rating it. surely having a panel like that would deal with totally wacky, seemingly idyosincratic votes like that

ya i would say lerena from the tbrb list. perez did credibly against briedis (though the fight sucked and he clearly lost) but really that itself isnt enough for me

I prefer that list, although it's only a matter of time before someone knocks Makabu off there. Perez maybe, if he has more fights at the weight. Merhy vs Goulamirian is a nice fight between two unbeaten prospects. The winner of that throws their name into the picture.

He was supposed to fight for the IBO title before his opponent for sent down for drugs.

I've never seen him fight personally. But I can see he's regarded as a decent prospect at 200.

I think that Lerena is better than Constantin Bejenaru and deserve place in top 10, because he fights regularly and Bejenaru is very inactive. As for me Marco Huck, Steve Cunningham, Ilunga Makabu and Firat Arslan are gatekeepers to the top level. As for prospects I think that we should pay attention to russian trio - Yury Kashinsky, Ruslan Fayfer and Aleksei Papin

Yeh, they're done. Don't think Makabu started TBH..

Huck is only early 30's but has been at the top for over 10 years..

Arslan is 47 :oo If any of the belt holders pick him as a voluntary, it would be a shame. If world title contenders fight him it should be okay.

Some though Cunningham vs. Tabiti was closer the scorecards.
