Definitely the ultimate test for horn because until now was only fun, sparring bouts and bouts vs older boxers, possibly searching for improvements with eyes for a huge bout. Now a young and super skilled boxer is on sight for we know how good and prepared Horn is.

On the other side, Crawford is coming for a good debut in 147, a relative debut test. We can expect a good fight and IMO a KO on Horn.

Hitman Jr will impale, chop down, and dice Horn into steaming pile on the canvas.

Corcoran gave Horn all he could handle. It was a good, competitive fight between two decent pros. It should not have been stopped although the outcome was clear.

Hitman Jr will not let him off the hook like Pac did. Horn is going to be turned into a heapy steamy mess. It will not get to the cards.

I did not score it realtime. I will go back and do so. I had Horn up but there were several very close rounds. Pretty much every round was relatively close.

I think that Horn pretty much has to be stopped if the fight is in Australia.

The fight was really decent, btw. Well worth the time and it is up on Youtube. I am sure Beast has it too.

While some of the rounds were tough to score and tight, admittedly, the above just doesn’t do Corcoran justice at the end of the day.

That being said, it doesn’t change the result – nor would have in the end.

Way wide for me. 96-94 / 97-93 would be more like it. Might as well have been stopped.

Corcoran acquitted himself well.

Crawford would beat Horn handily. Horn MIGHT be able to take a few of the early rounds, but after that Crawford's gonna put on a clinic. Wouldn't be surprised if he dominated every round right from the start.

When Horn boxed last night he dominated. Landing his jab, uppercuts and straight rights when ever he wanted to. The problem is he wanted to trade on the inside which wasn't bright.
Corcoran was physically as strong as horn but got worn down. Horn will try and outmuscle Crawford and push him around like he did Pacquiao. I think Crawford wins but Horn wont be a walk in the park.

I had Horn up 97 / 93 at the end of the fight last night.

I'm pretty sure Arum has Horn for one more fight, so it will be an in-house TR fight, and Crawford will get it. Crawford will show why so many don't rate Horn too highly.

crawford will obbiously take apart horn. maybe if mundine fight is actually a possibility (big money in aus)arum would support horn vacating and then craw fighting some wbo ranked guy for a vacant belt. i dunno, just throwing thibgs out there

Fight postponed. Wasn't even officially announced. What a clusterfūck promotion for a supposedly P4P top 5..

Crawford has suffered hand injury.

P.s. I didn't see the point in creating a new thread. It's not like this thread had 4 pages worth of discussions. Tell me otherwise please.

Legit injury or an excuse to scrap a card that hasn't gotten off the ground?

It hasn't been officially announced and it was only 4 weeks away. And no tickets had been put on sale. Pretty suspicious.

Wasn't the fight originally planned for New York? And then it was sent packing to Las Vegas.

Now, who knows. Maybe Omaha.

With Pacquiao refusing to appear, Arum may have realized that Horn -Crawford was shaping up as a high priced box office bust, and decided to retool by inventing a bogus injury for Crawford.

Arum says it will be rescheduled for May or June. We'll see.

Suprised by this upon hearing the news. Firstly Pacquiao pulled off the card from Top Rank, and now the cancellation of the card. This is disappointing, as I think it's important for Crawford to try and get three fight's in this year, seem's he will likely now only manage two. Hopefully we get to see Crawford v Horn as soon as possible, and get to see Terence step up and fight some of the best fighter's in the division.

The April 14 welterweight championship fight between Terence Crawford and Jeff Horn was postponed today due to injury.

Bob Arum told ESPN Crawford suffered an injury to his right hand while sparring at his training camp in Colorado Springs.

“He hurt his hand hitting a guy on top of the head gear,” said Arum. “We’ve gotten him treated by the best hand doctors. He had an MRI, and there is no ligament tear, thank God. The doctor prescribed two weeks of rest, and then he should be ready to go. We’ll put the fight sometime in late May or early June, but that depends on how Terence’s hand is feeling.”

Brian McIntyre, Crawford’s manager and trainer, accompanied him to a hand specialist in Los Angeles.

“The hand is in the process of healing and one thing with Terence is he loves to train so he’s been training and running and doing what he can do without using the hand,” said McIntyre. “This is a little road bump. We’re gonna stay out here in Colorado Springs and once we get word from the doctor we’ll be ready to go. We’ll see how Terence feels and we’ll talk to Top Rank about a new date, but we’re definitely going to stay in camp and keep training. The guy he was sparring with has a hard head. When we do come back we’ll come back stronger and more determined.”

Horn's trainer Glenn Rushton seemed baffled that Crawford would delay the fight over an injury he claimed boxers suffer "almost every day at training".

"He seems to me a bit soft. Toughen up princess," Rushton said.

"I wouldn't see the need in Australia to postpone the fight - I think Terence needs to harden up a bit.

"Jeff had eight stitches (in forehead) three weeks out from his last fight, it was a bad injury and he missed 36 rounds of boxing but still went out and fought.

"A slight hand injury? Put some cortisone into it and let's get it on."

Rushton believed Crawford's injury excuse had given Horn a huge mental advantage.

"I think it does. We think now he is not as tough as we thought he was," Rushton said.

"We will treat it as a psychological edge, use this as a positive and train even harder."

Crawford-Horn Will Be Streamed Through ESPN+ Subscription App

According to an ESPN.com report Thursday morning, Jimmy Pitaro, the cable network’s new president, announced during a meeting Wednesday that Crawford-Horn will be made available through the ESPN+ app. The app, which will launch sometime this spring, will cost $4.99 per month and will include a lot of boxing content, as well as live coverage of other sports.

Pitaro also announced that 12 cards provided by Bob Arum’s Top Rank Inc. will been streamed through the ESPN+ app, including the show headlined by Crawford-Horn. Top Rank signed an exclusive content deal with ESPN last summer.
