On April 21 in Czestochowa, Poland - former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek (52-5, 30 KOs) will headline a packed card in Poland. The popular Polish fighter is going to create some possible fireworks when he faces the very dangerous Joey Abell (34-9, 32 KOs) in a heavyweight clash.

In a cruiserweight bout, the rising Mateusz Masternak (40-4, 27 KOs) will be matched against the always durable Youri Kalenga (23-4, 16 KOs).

And the young gun of the bunch, cruiserweight prospect Adam Balski (11-0, 8 KOs) will take a step up in class when he faces Denis Grachev (16-6-1, 9 KOs).

It is a fine match-up. My one fear is that all of Adamek's conquerors go on to be overrated by boxrec's ratings, and his conqueror's conquerors do as well. For instance, Artur Szpilka, Eric Molina, Vyacheslav Glazkov, Charles Martin, Adam Kownacki, and Dominic Breazeale.

at this stage it may well be, no doubt he was levels and levels above abell, but hes looked slow and easy to hit lately, and is obviously very faded. and he can be hurt

so id give abell an outside but real chance, aside from koing zimnoch and nofire abell dropped pulev. galen brown has been in with many notable hws and cws and said no one hit him like abell did

I think Adamek still has enough in the tank to beat a guy like Abell, but it'll be a rough, ugly fight for him. He's getting too old for this sh*t.

At least he's fighting to where his level is these days though.

I would take Joey on this fight just because Tomasz age and Abell punching power I could be wrong but he for sure hits like a top heavy and has a puncher chance against anyone

For me this is the bigger fight.

Pretty close to 50/50 affair.

Shows how deep the CW division is when guys like this are ranked at 21 and 27.
