Due to losses in the first race at Cheltenham (sky bet refund) I've had £60 on Joshua to win SPOTY at a combination of 9/2 & 4/1.

Quiet year for British sport, bar a miraculous world cup win, and if Joshua ends up beating Parker & wilder and anybody else then he is going to be odds on to win it in December.

Just backing him to beat those 2 as a double will get you less than that price too

fornicate That, you'll need more detail than that. Incorrect participant is bullshit. The only thing they might have got wrong is the number of rounds it was scheduled for.

How much did you win?

Good luck with it. Sounds iffy to me but bet365 have form for this and it's why I no longer use them.

I did under/over rounds with Bet365 and Bet Victor a couple of months ago. Both bets on the same fight.

Fight got changed from a 12 rounder to a 10 rounder. Betvictor refunded me but my bet stood on Bet365. The bet lost so I contacted Bet365 as I thought I was betting on a 12 rounder. I didn't know it was changed to a 10 rounder until the bell rang for the first round. I don't think anyone did.

They told me because I did under 8.5 the outcome was still possible so the bet stood.

So it's funny how they've changed their stance because your bet won. I wonder how many people got refunded on betting over 3.5 rounds....No one!

I've been screwed over by Bet365.

I bet Joyce inside 3 rounds.

They said it's because the fight changed from 10 rounds to 8.

Boxrec still have this as a 10 round fight, although the referee did say "8 rounds or less" in the build up.

Absolute charlatans, he won inside 30 seocnds ffs. Any excuse not to pay out. IF you back a horse in a 10 horse race but the actual runners is only 8, they still pay out. pudenda.

Looks like I dodged a bullet somehow, I had Joyce ko1 at 16-1 with betfair, tried to place £100 on it but was limited to £31 for some reason, the winnings were paid in the early hours and I withdrew them straight away.

It wasn't limited; tThe exchange works by matching your bet to other users - but it can only match what is available. So your £31 would have been matched at whatever price you bet it at, then your remaining £69 would have been left floating; hoping to find a match at the same price, but obviously it wasn't matched. So your £69 was refunded and the £31 that was matched, returned the winnings.

I'm not sure how they would even try to void or refunded matched bets on the exchange after the market has closed.

Make a fuss on the phone. Ended up giving me the winnings as a free bet. It's a bit sh!t though as i needed to win a bet at even money just to get the money (as the freebet value isn't included in the return). Caught PSG in-play vs Nice. Still feel annoyed about it though & boxrec still have it listed as a 10 rounder.

Anyone here placed a bet on BET365 on over rounds in the Joyce fight?

Let's us know if your bet stood as a loser.

Well that worked out better than expected.

It seems I withdrew the £90 late Saturday night to my PayPal. I really can’t remember having done this but it shows in my PayPal account. I then bitched on here about not getting paid out and emailed Bet365.

They then debited my account the £75 winnings. That put my account in the negative . And “as a goodwill gesture”they made the account balance back to zero.

I was confused at this stage( I didn’t know I had withdrawn the £90) so I emailed them complaining and they credited my account with the £15 ‘ void bet’

All a bit weird but somehow I’ve ended up with £105 inc original £15 stake!

I’ve stopped punting with Bet Bright. Had a good touch on Abner Mares points in his last fight (or thought I did). He won via technical decision. Points totals were read out. Sky Sports (who covered the fight in the UK) announced it as a points win in their headline article. But they chose to settle it as a TKO win. I went all the way to IBAS with my complaint —who were basically a load of shi*e and stood by the bookies. I asked the question you will settle a technical draw as a draw but not a technical decision as a decision? They said yes. Been emailing n texting me with £50 free bet offers ever since but I refuse to use them ever again on principle. I wouldn’t care I’m a proper bad gambler so they’ve cost themselves a few grand a year easy. Absolute helmets.

Gone for a treble.

Ritson by KO, TKO or DQ @ 1/3
Buglioni by Decision or Technical Decision @ 10/3
Whyte by Decision or Technical Decision @ 11/10

£10 pays £121.32.

Anything catch the eye for this weekend?

Best value for me is Josh Kelly by decision @ 5/4 against Carlos Molina -
Molina has never been stopped in 38 contests. Kelly, despite 4 KOs in 5 fights doesn't seem to have devastating one punch power. In my opinion he's hurt opponents more due to excellent timing and accuracy. Think there's a good chance Molina is tough and experienced enough to see the final bell.

Other than that you can get Povetkin by KO in 1-3 at 13/10. - Don't think a great deal needs to be said about that one. Povetkin definitely seems to be a less devastating puncher now he's off the juice but he still hits a hell of a lot harder than the Teper's and Hammer's of this world who both stopped Pricey.
