Eubank Jr elbow injuries?

Post by TheLeprechaun »

I've read about this a few times over the years. The chap can't seem to throw straight punches so im thinking there must be some substance to it.

Hahah my first thought was 'the result of throwing thousands of wide hooks on heavy bags'

I explained the following almost a year ago to the forum:
Enlightened-One wrote:... One of the flaws that the Brit [possesses is] related to his reluctance or inability to throw straight right hands, which [is] due to a long-term hyperextended elbow injury that Eubank Jr. suffers on his right arm.

Eubank Jr. has had to adapt his style to cater for this impediment, subsequently resulting in him throwing too many uppercuts, which are incredibly difficult shots to land. This means that (against certain opponents) Chris can be very wasteful and inefficient with his offence.

ITV interviews and iFL TV videos. I got it from the horse's mouth.

I knew about Eubanks elbow injury long before the Quinlan bout. It wasn't a secret.

He does partial ROM seated machine curls, so that'll fix it. :OhYes:

I'm agreeing with the product of shit technique and ignoring joint pain.

My guess is the Eubanks refusal to stop training even when injured has caused this to become a chronic problem.

 so far, we have, crappy technique on his wide hooks, doing stupid curls, insisting on getting in the gym the day after a fight when he should be recovering...

basically its his own fault.

anyway regarding the alleged elbow injury, only the right elbow has been mentioned? doesn't explain why he never throws a jab...?
