I think the smart money is on Ritson punching holes in Cardle and blasting him out, maybe within 4 rounds.

Cardle isn't as illusive nor effective as he appears to think he is. I think Hearn has grown tired and frustrated with Cardle's lack of progress.

Humour? You think referencing child sex abuse for the sake of a cheap jibe is funny? Maybe I have had experience of sexual abuse. Is that something to make fun of?

im not sure any right thinking would find comments about child sex abuse "funny'. How odd and bizarre that you would think such things are fun and jovial. Wow.

Amazing how these forums can really give an insight into how depraved or unintelligent some people really are.

Think Cardle is in for a painful night. He looks in poor shape.

Anyone know what Cardle's chin is meant to like? None of his opponents have been really big punchers so far.

Robbie Barret has 1 KO in 19 fights.
Kevin Hooper has 4 KOs in 26 fights.
Masher Dodd has 3 KOs in 18 fights.
Craig Evans has 3 KOs in 21 fights.

Biggest puncher he's been in with is probably Paul Appleby with 11 KOs but even he never stopped anyone of note.

Is it just a coincidence or has he been kept away from power?

Great finishing again from Ritson it was 1st class, Cardle deserves some kudos for taking the aggressive approach, he had a great 1st round which bamboozled Ritson and he tried to get an advantage but as soon as he gave Ritson a chance Ritson looked clinical

Agree with you there Barry boy :TU: Cardle landed some meaty looking digs in the opener and I thought he stung Ritson a few times. Ritson kept calm under pressure and showed some maturity there. Didn't get drawn in and was methodical. Good performance from him. There's a fair chance he'll give up the British and move on now. That's two solid domestic guys he's poleaxed early in his last two so it's hard to see the point in him sticking around at that level now. Perhaps Cardle can try and fight for the vacant belt if Ritson vacates and get the belt for keeps and hang em up?

I'm not a Cardle fan and he gets on my tits at times but I've a new found respect for him after tonight and seeing that interview. Comes across a humble enough guy and wants to crack on. Gave it a go in the fight but it wasn't to be. Fair play to the guy.

Someone had mentioned his speech in another thread which I had made a joke about and I know he's always had a speech impediment but it does seem to be getting worse which sets the warning bells ringing. From that interview he obviously wants to carry on but I hope those close to him keep a close eye on things and save him from himself should he need saved.

Couldn't have put it any better brother, I was starting to see flaws in Ritson early on but he looked massive and in truth he looked as if he wasn't fussed with whatever Cardle had so probably just went for it, great win again, looks like another Taylor in terms of destructibilty(is that a word? it shold be :D )
