Bah!
AJ is all friendly when there is a Sky Sports microphone jammed in his gob, but will he talk to any Kiwi media at the open workout?
Nope.
We sent a tidy blond Shelia and a fella with a handy cam all the way to Blighty for this fight. People have gone without pies to try and get to talk to Sir Humblelot MBE in London.

Reading that Parker has had an operation since his last fight to sort out his elbows that he was in pain for over 2yrs and that is why his performance levels have been shocking.

Apparently now he is back fully healthy and punching harder than ever.

Could we have been underestimating Parker's ability due to this injury.

I get weary when these things come out in the build up to a fight, it is as if they are looking for a positive position to build upon.

Kiwi's should've employed Scottish golf sensation Carly Booth and Sky's Kirsty Gallagher to interview the big deviant :yay: He's been throwing his dirty big dick about the two of them at the same time

I didn't know about that. I did know he was carrying a shoulder injury for a while.

Apparently noone knew. But whilst Higgins was negotiating this fight Parker was getting surgery.

Like I said, sounds like they are looking for every possible positive before the fight.

James Degale said the same about his shoulder injury before the Traux fight and we all know how that went

It’s all a load of b0llocks, it always is. Just like Brook being ‘stronger than ever’ following his surgery after the Golovkin fight, then immediately getting stopped by Spence. And yeah, just like DeGale before the Truax fight. Surely no-one pays any attention to pre/post fight claims from a boxer?

The heavyweight champ doesn’t have to do anything anyone tells him.

Parker’s camp are entertaining the media because they have to. Their man needs all the exposure he can get. Joshua is the biggest name at heavyweight by a mile

Parker is exactly where he wants to be right now. He doesn't have to do anything other than concentrate on the fight.

For someone who seems to love engaging in mind games, Higgins is getting seriously rattled

Slightly off topic, but it’s a bit annoying that I have tickets to the show but would also have to pay out for a PPV if I wanted to record it and watch it back when I got home. Can’t Eddie do a deal with Sky where ticket purchases come with a code for a free PPV or something?

Nope, your lucky enough to be there in person, that'll have to do ya. :-P
Now I would love to take your side in this, and for a small donation of 2 air fares (me Mrs loves AJ I'd have to bring her) and a few nights accommodation with our two tickets you can chuck in some £££ so we can bring back a bit of duty free, I fight for your cause

No its not its being profesional, Parker comes from a warm climate , coming into a frozen , snowy country full of colds and flu , everyone wanting to talk to him, shake his hand , and spread there snott , is something he does'nt need or want .

Actually makes me tink they are really taking it serious and genuinly think there in with a chance , because they don'nt want to take a chance . :TU:

I may add , when an athlete is peaking , which they can only do . twice , possibly 3 times a year , they are very susebtacle to colds and flu ,

It gets shown for free on Sky about a week or two later anyway doesn't it? Not got sky now so don't know but thought that used to be the case.

Am I missing something in thinking Parker has absolutely no chance here ?

He's smaller, not a particularly big puncher, been massively protected and pretty much handed a world title on a plate, and has never really faced a big dangerous puncher...

He's not going to box circles round Joshua, and he's not going to blast him out...am I missing something here ?
