most overrated and underrated now/recently?

Post by jamamb »

just some for me

overrated:

several hw prospects: hrgovc (slow ploddng and easy to land on) and dubos (lumberng and wth customzed opponents made to flatter) to name a few. these type of guys are treated as though there sure thngs and already near world level

usy as a hypothetcal hw (very good cw but way too many ppl actng as though he beats aj and deontay)

recently euban jr (wasnt nearly as beastly vs groves as he made ppl beleve vs 2nd/3rd level opponents)

ggg (was high up in greatest mw convos)

lubin (had beaten no one and already been down a few i beleve yet loads chose him to win decsve vs charlo)

under:

ortiz (suddnly ppl act as though he was awful when the deontay match was made)

sergey (ppl now act as though hes average)

t davis and berchelt (top top talents imo but treated as though there merely good)

also wonder about whether inoues being too easly expected to run trhough 118

and josh taylor gets billed as a monster ever since beatng an unproven prospect who had just 15 or so amateur bouts compared to josh havng loads

and joe p is up at 3 in many ratngs when imo hes lower top 10 at best and got 2 fortunate decsos vs andy and fury
