Yeah good questions from the interviewer there.

I'm just hoping Price can be a bit more relaxed as the underdog and let his hands go - rather than nervously reaching with his left hand until Povetkin inevitably KOs him.
Yeah. It makes you think what does he do in camp? Surely he's been taught how to use a more effective jab an surely his trainer has said to let his hands go more. But he doesn't seem to change in any of his fights. Hopefully he has a proper game plan an nerves don't get to him.

Dave Coldwell explained after his last KO that he is one of those who look a million dollars in the gym, does everything you ask. But as the fight approaches he can see the nerves build and that inhibits price.

Price is the Dog on a spit roast in China somewhere, singed and crispy.

He's never going to recover from the pastings he has taken mentally, just not the right mental makeup for a top level pro fighter, too tense, too nervous.

100% Hearn has this scheduled in the running order with a good few fights ready to fill the gap, as he knows it’s over inside a round or two. A watch through your fingers fight for any Dave Price fans.

If they keep putting Price in tough fights sooner or later he is going to win one, surely

By law of averages alone, he must be due a meaningful win by now :maybe:

Hope he just comes out and gives it everything he's got, even if it means he's fvcked after 3 rounds. No point trying to box Povetkin because he just doesn't seem to be able to do that with decent opponents. I saw an interview with him saying if he'd have got the Joshua fight the other year, he'd have trained to just throw the kitchen sink at him early, fingers crossed he does the same here and gets lucky.

Put a fiver on with whoever you like, you're still going to lose a fiver

True. I think Pricey'll fold in the first like a cheap deckchair.

It's been a long time since I've wanted anyone to win a fight as much as I want Price to win this one.

Unfortunately, he'll almost certainly get flattened early on.

Not sure what to make from Price's workout there. I know its public and possibly relaxed but i would have liked to have seen him show the crowd and Povetkin something to think about.

It was far too relaxed for me. As ive said not really sure if i should read anything into it.

It does seem strange that he wouldn't even go through the motions of the pads for 3 minutes.

I dont think ive seen a fighter not hit pads at an open workout before. does Price have a hand injury?

as a plumber, david price has to throw the kitchen sink at povetkin early or his career will go down the U bend.

come on big dave, one last hurrah, let the backhand go early.

stadium will be pretty much full by then right? just another ingredient to screw with big daves notorius nerves

his best, most destructive opponent in front of 80k. an opponent with brutal ktfos who just waltzed through the last guy who kod him. i get nervous for him just thinking about it :oo
