I've noticed Frank exhibiting better defence in his last couple of fights. Most of the head movement though, has been when he is out of range, but an improvement all the same. So his team appear to be working on it.
Do I think he can beat Yarde?
Nah.
My vote was along with the 84%'ers...
Which does reflect my views on how it would go, Frank has about a 20/80 chance IMO.

buglioni hardly beats anyone easy, even guys like banjo markham and ricky summers. and not even guys like ryan ford got as embarrasingly pummelled by chudinov like frank did

why do some ppl say such stupid things? at least with the last poster i csn see he thinks taking such strong and baseless stances makes him nifty. good for you mate

the guy yarde last fought and easily beat drew at euro level for the ebu title right before, which is a level above anything burtons ever done. miles shinkwin means nothing,

yet ppl act like buglioni proved way more and put himself at a higher level with that win vs burton than yarde has. nah, and dont tell me ppl wouldve given yarde much credit if he scraped by with a decision vs ricky summers

It reminds me a bit of Jason Matthews v Paul Wright a good few years ago. The raw big puncher overcoming the light punching but well-schooled domestIc level fighter fairly easily. Yarde TKO3. I think in relation to history repeating itself, he'd be well advised to put the breaks on jumping into world title challenges. I remember Jason Matthews and Mark Prince's careers blowing out quite quickly after they were exposed in higher class. They both had the Anthony Yarde all-power vibe on their way up the domestic ranks.

You're putting Buglioni in the 'well-schooled' category? He's only just learned how not to block every single punch with his face, presumably ecstatic to only be shipping about 55% nowadays. He makes Eubank look like Willie Pep

yes, maybe this will bring the 'frank exposes and beats him ppl' back down to earth. the guy was never much better then ricky summers. he was embarrassingly out of his depth vs the same chudinov who the much maligned ryan ford won 4 rounds against and cut up. bugs couldnt beat banjo markham and barely survived andrew robinson

and we all saw how shit burton just was vs a crap opponent, this gives more perspective on him too. but omg he beat shinkwin! yardes so scurred lol

its not at all clear that bugs and burton were ever any better then skejocs and averlant (or ryan ford). ppl just rated them higher because there british and because ppl dont follow the boxing scene close enough to be familar with the others.

no, yardes way above the buglioni/ricky summers level

buglioni is a guy who couldnt beat banjo markham, was embarrasingly outclassed by chudinov (ryan ford did way better),, and took a battering late on from andy robinson. he was in a 115-114 fight with ricky summers. none of that happens to yarde, and if it did certain ppl would be screaming hype job as loud as they could.

i mean johnson is good and you cant discount him beating yarde, but hed be dealing with a much much much more dangerous opponent then buglioni.

probably this loss stings the ppl who were on the 'bugs exposes him' train. they need to get real, bugs and burton arent much at all. there fortunate to have been british champs at the right time.
