Christ imagine that as a main event Saturday night - that’s how it used to be in the 80s - without the PPV bollocks

Bensons a slag and so are you for making polls about fights that even in the status you put up right at the start saids 'he will probably make a offer' so it's know where near happening. Hope you get another week off so you can carry on sucking Benson off

Is there not a few rumours floating about that Yarde is chinny? If rumours are true it's a dangerous gamble but I suppose he'll have to take the leap sooner or later. As you say there's not really an excuse as things stand. He's had the big build up and plenty of knock over jobs to help build him up. Where is he in the British rankings? Is he anywhere near mandatory for British?

Another rumoured fight with a poll and this fight wont happen. Frank doesn't want Yarde near any of Eddie's fighters at the moment. Seriously, this is taking the piss.

If Yarde goes through without fighting any of Johnson, Buglioni or Burton when Hearn is willing to let the fight happen on BT then it's a bad look for him. He should be calling those guys out, not acting as if he's above them because he's looked impressive knocking over over-matched opponents.

Cos he said on a video that he's willing to let him on fight in bt etc means nothing. Why do people take what these promoters say on them shoddy IFL videos as gospel

He might be willing to let them fight on bt but for all we know they'll demand a ridiculous amount of money for it regardless what channel

I don't see where the idea that buglioni was worth a massive pay day aswell to fight Yarde come from either. as much as he seems a decent fella and entertaining to watch I've never seen anything special from buglioni unfortunately

so the fight isn't worth discussing until the fight is signed and announced?
Nobody has said the fight is 100% on, we are simply discussing who would win and how we believe it would go if it did get made.
Seems harmless enough to me...

Frank had involvement when Yarde pulled out of a purse bid with Burton. It won't be any different when it comes to Johnson. Yarde is not fighting a matchroom fighter for the time being. You created a poll / thread for a fight that is not going to happen.

Hearn has said he is willing to make it on BT.
It is a relevant fight that is worth discussing.

Doesn't mean its going to happen? Its a fight he wants to make but it takes two to tango and Yarde's team is not going to tango.

It's fine Wes, I want to know too

I have only seen Johnson once, and that was last night, so I'd love to read others opinions. Learn a bit more about him. I really didn't think he would so what he did to Frank, and that has really peaked my interest.

A mouthwatering match up that would be very difficult to call at this stage. In a perfect world this would take place later on this year.

Unfortunately it will only happen if Yarde gets made mandatory, bit since he seems uninterested in fighting an eliminator the board will probably not make him mamdatory any time soon.

Which means that a fight between the two wont happen for the foreseeable.

See no reason why people on a boxing forum can't discuss the potential bout though.

Can't see the harm in discussing a potential & interesting fight, the issue is when the front page of the board is flooded with them.

Can't see Fwank letting Yarde near such a dangerous fight as clearly still building him up as a future star. Got to take the risk at some stage but it won't be yet & certainly not against one of Hearn's stable.

But its certainly the sort of crossroads fight between exciting & undefeated fighters that would get fans interested so would be a shame if it doesn't happen. ,Both can hit & have looked impressive at this early stage of their careers I suppose it comes down to their chins, I know there are rumours about Yarde being chinny but if I was a betting money I think I'd go with him.

Yarde swerved Burton, wanted Buglioni because he is vulnerable. Johnson is a different beast to Buglioni.

Doubt it will happen while Warren is guiding Yarde

Yeah Ive got no issue with talking about it. An iits interesting to see from the poll that people think Johnson will win.

I just cant understand why people think because MR said that theyre willing to let him fight on BT means anything. Im sure they have no issue with him fighting on BT but then theyll just demand a ridiculous amount for it.

People seem to think FW will be the stumbling block here when in fact it will probably just be a case of MR pricing them out.
