I mean Browne looked so out of shape , untrained and with a sh.it defense. It's no wonder he got K.O'd.

AJ vs Whyte II ?

Browne is old and almost inactive, he should retire. Anyway, not so big scalp for Whyte, even after closing eyes on that, because Browne himself has his biggest wins with lucky punching past prime Chagaev and decisioning past past past past prime Toney. Whyte should try someone more decent.

Povetkin/Price winner (Povetkin most likely) will probobly get the shot against Joshua. And Miller/Breazeale is a good idea.

I'd like to see him against Takam, Parker, or Miller. Start getting more of these contenders facing off.

Whyte has been calling out Wilder for months. Surely Whyte is #1 contender for the WBC.

That fight was RIDICULOUS. How anyone could put on a show like that and charge people to watch one good boxer beat down one of the most out of shape, uncoordinated, unskilled, obese fighters i've ever seen on an HBO main event. PATHETIC. What was more pathetic was how the announcers made it sound like it was a coming out party for Whyte or something. Come on...that was a putrid mismatch.

I'm so curious if Whyte is gonna push his chances for a fight with Wilder in US ?

Browne looked like a fat pudding & he probably did his training by eating puddings!

Whyte, by contrast looked fitter than I'd ever seen him

He's always looked a bit too fleshy, as if he hasn't trained fully, but this time, he looked a lot better.

Whyte has also improved his skillset, although, to be fair, we won't really know by how much until he fights an opponent that isn't sponsored by Weight Watchers!

Wilder has already turned down an offer to face Whyte, which was double the purse the American received to face Ortiz.

Poor Lucas, damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

I suspect the days of seeing boxers over the age of 30 with superhero physiques might be coming to an end.

Well, he did get caught roiding. Also, that for sure wasn't the same Browne that upset Chagaev.

Yes, that's probably the best clean almost 39 year old Lucas Browne that we could hope to see. Given the circumstances its difficult to see how he could have done much better without Whyte walking onto a big right hand.

He said he was looking for one big shot and he wasn't kidding. Eddie Hearn just about got away with that one, mainly due to Browne's, game performance.

"did you see in what awful shape was 38 y/o Browne ?"

As soon as the fight started I saw that he was fat around the middle and looked like a Golden Glove sub novice with no fight plan except, Hey, maybe I might get lucky and land a punch! What was he actually doing for all those months that he was allegedly training with Wladimir Klitschko and all? Unfortunately for him Whyte showed up in superb shape.

More importantly,I hope that Browne is OK.

I picked Browne to win "handily" and boy was I wrong.

Browne didn't look any different in the lead up, but once that bell rang he was not the fighter I've seen previously. Some of that was Whyte (who is a little better than I gave him credit for) but after re-watching, most of it was Browne. A fat, rusty blob looking for one quick shot and not at all respectful of Whyte.

Whyte must surely be considered top ten, which is indicative of the very poor quality of the current state of affairs at HW.

I think Whyte was already in the top 10. Not too sure, though. Several thought Whyte lost to Chisora, though.

I felt he lost to Del Boy, but he was definitely ranked top 10 prior to Browne. I more meant that now I would also consider him top ten based on talent and not just because the ranking orgs suck. HW is trash right now outside the top.

If Browne had came to the fight with the athleticism of Lebron James, Whyte would've beat the piss out of him and KTFO'd him. Whyte is too much better at boxing. Whyte would have dominated and KO'd Browne under any circumstances. One of these fighters legitimately has great boxing skills, the other has poor boxing skills.

Whoa whoa whoa...GREAT boxing skills? Whyte sucks; Browne just sucks more. There is nothing great about Dillian Whyte unless you don't know what the word great means.
