I've no interest in Haye anymore. Even if he beats Bellew he's falling to bits.

Why are people so sure Bellew will win again, he was lucky to get the win last time.

Haye looked the worst he has ever looked but was still winning clearly until he aggrevated his injury.

There is a possibility that Haye gets injured again, but if that doesn't happen I see no way that Bellew can beat him, even given how far past his best Haye clearly is.

Haye is held together with duct tape as it is. Who knows what shape he will be in leading up to the Bellew fight, let alone afterwards.

Dillian Whyte seems more motivated by titles than money, so I can't see him wasting his time fighting a busted flush like Haye, especially as he is now on the cusp of a world title challenge.

Then again, if the cheque is large enough, who knows?

Agreed.

There seems little point in fighters with ambition wasting their time with David Haye, because they could be sat around for years waiting for yet another bit of his body to heal from its latest injury.

Ah well, either one of them will become high ranked in boxrec, so it will be an easy step up in ranks for Joe Joyce or something

If haye is fit he will blast away bellew and deep down everyone knows that. They say bellew because they don’t like haye. I’ll be going big on haye knockout anyway

nah you can believe bellew wins wthout hating haye. bellew did win the frst even though he was losing tll the leg blew.

no doubt haye at his best was another level but hayes bodys just such an uncertantly. hardly outlandsh to believe somethng blows agan. injures have been a major problem even well before that fght. haye also mght have the hs own promotonal busness on the mind more then optimal?

Haye has had injuries but I don't think we're at the stage where you have to think it's more likely he gets injured than not. His Achilles goes against Bellew and all of a sudden Haye is the sort of fighter who's body simply cannot cope anymore. I don't buy that. Could it happen again? Of course. But I think it's more likely that he beats Bellew.

It certainly isn't beyond the realm possibility that Haye gets injured again. However Bellew and his team seem to be relying on that happening, which shouldn't fill his fans with confidence.

The Bellew situation is frustrating for me as I always felt he was a better fighter than given credit for and I used to stick up for him when friends of mine said he was crap, which he clearly isn't. But now the tables have turned and he is getting far too much credit for a fight he essentially fluked.

Either way, I can't see the winner doing much at heavyweight in the future. Haye will look for one more payday if he wins (Whyte could be that fight).
Bellew will no doubt wait for the winner of the Cruiser tournament to vacate and move to heavy before moving down and targeting to softest looking route to a vacant title (at least that is what i would advise him to do).

well i think its the trajectory of it all, injury prone guy getting up there in years, then gets to the point where he has another major injury that actually results in him losing a fight, now continuing to get older and put stress on his body which not longbeforehad been seriously injured and likely made even more injury prone

i would lean haye but i do think hes at a point where his condition should be seriously questioned, even if he doesnt fall totally apart. this isnt bellew vs anything close to the destryoyer haye who there once was.

Regarding Bellew and a heavyweight tilt, that ship has sailed. His only chance would be Parker beating Joshua and that isn't happening.

Haye wont beat Bellew. Haye hasnt fought and beat anyone of note to suggest he can beat Bellew. Haye hasnt 'fought' in over 5 years.

Bellew would have beaten Haye without any injury last time out. This time it will be the same but in quicker fashion. Bellew has beat him once and i cant see any changes from Haye that suggests he can take out Bellew this time around.

Haye is a walking sick note and if hes not stopped inside 6 rounds ill be surprised.

I dont think Bellew has any intention of fighting anyone else at heavy, hes not daft he is just building his pension pot. Bellew knows his capability at heavyweight and hes not fought a real heavyweight to justify his heavyweight ranking.

No, Bellew isnt daft.

Bellew would of beaten Haye without the injury???????

He was getting outboxed clearly until Hayes leg went. He would of either been stopped or lost wide on points.
